As you may have seen on my other posts in the past, I am always going on and moaning about how short and stumpy my lashes are . I have never had lovely long lashes and to be fare it has always been a rather annoying part of my regime , especially when I was wearing false lashes everyday to try and enhance them. Thing is , I merely think I have done more harm than good and now I don't have the time to apply those false lashes every morning , I am now on the look out for something that will help my natural lashes grow or become more fuller. Over the past month I have been using the LiLash Eyelash Serum in replacement of my usual mascara, false lashes or fibre mascaras and here are my thoughts. It was very easy to use, all I had to do was apply a thin layer of the serum on the eyelash line on my top lid each day . I have heard that this has not been tested on pregnant ladies so unfortunately I am unable to keep applying it until afterwards but I did see a slight difference in the short time I had used it . I love the packaging, its clean and crisp and silver always goes great on my vanity . You get very precise with the thin brush making it easy to apply. It says not to apply more than one application and not to apply them to the lower lash because it may cause irritation. Some people have said that it does cause irritation but I have very sensitive eyes and mine were perfectly fine . There is no strong odour so it does not sting the eye on applying which was my biggest concern. The Demi is available for £53.95 but you can get the full size £94.37 from Lilash.com , to be fare it is very highly priced in my opinion , I know I would not buy this when it is empty. They say that the serum is to enhance and transform your eyes but I think I need a little longer after my pregnancy to give it more of a try as I only see a small change , not exactly the wow factor I have seen on others results. For me this is a little over priced even for the smaller Demi version although it does go a long way and will last a very long time but I am willing to keep trying in the hope it will lengthen my lashes some more . I can see on the very last picture that it has given me some length , noticable at that and even lifted the lashes to enhance the effect of longer lashes . See how I got on with the brow Serum soon. What do you think about the serums, would you give them a try, have you, or do you do something else to enhance those gorgeous peekers of yours ?

You may be realising that there has been quite some interest with me using Natural products of late and it may be no surprise to you that this is because I have to be careful on what I put onto my skin due to be pregnant. Since finding out , I have become more appreciatable over the 100% natural , organic products and when I reached into my unknown box ( Box of goodies which have been stored away unopened ) I found that I had two products from one brand which I have not yet tried but seemed very excited about. ''OMoi'' ''OMoi'' is referred to as ''Oh Me'' in English but its French Pronunciation sounds sounds so much prettier. The creator is a lady named Kristèle , a Mauritian-French who founded the skincare range in 2014 due to having problems and concerns over using cortisone products to relieve her eczema issues . OMoi products are Natural, customisable and Multi-purpose. Promising to be 100% natural, preservatives free, mineral oil free and paraben free , OMoi also promises to be free form testing on animals . Perfect ! I thought I would share with you two of the products I have been using this past month , hoping you may be inspired to give it a try .
All In One Balm The All In One Balm is a multi purpose balm made for using on body, hair and face and has stunning scents of Neroli, Lavender and Geranium. You warm the balm between your palm of your hands and massage into the area of your skin which you desire . For me I have found this a wonderful product for the dry areas such as my heels of my feet, knees and elbows. The texture is smooth and almost mousse like but feels more of a butter once warmed onto the skin. It is easy to apply onto the skin and only leaves a very slight oily feel to the skin afterwards although holds a clean feel. I have to admit that I only need a small amount of this product and it goes a long way so will be worth its price . The packaging is a lovely blue glass and can be cleaned and reused after use , handy t take along anywhere with you and has a screw top so it is secure in your handbag. You have the gorgeous finest essential oils that gives your skin the benefits it deserves and offers intense hydration for the whole day. Ingredients - Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (Shea Butter), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Coconut Oil), Prunus Persica Kernel Oil (Peach Kernel Oil), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Citrus Aurantium Flower Oil (Neroli Essential Oil), Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium Essential Oil), Lavandula Angustifolia Oil (Lavender Essential Oil), Citral, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool Size: 60ml Relaxing & Regenerating Facial Oil I am truly in love with this product. The gorgeous scents of Geranium and Sweet Orange is so relaxing it really does instantly sooth your mind and is enriched with Peach Kernel and Jojoba Oils which are excellent for sensitive skin as well as oily skin. I love how you get the pipette as it allows me to use just the right amount . With just one drop , I can use this in a rather large area and it dries very quickly again with only the slightest of oily texture. The scent is so much sweeter than the balm which I actually prefer and Ii also think this one stays on the skin more . I am always weary of wearing oils on my face, I fear it will build up and cause a breakout but this oil is just wonderful, I find it the perfect product for using before bed on the neck and face . Ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Peach Kernel Oil), Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba Oil), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Oil (Sweet Orange essential oil), Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium essential oil), Boswellia Carterii Oil (Frankincense essential oil), Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool Size: 30ml What do you think of natural products, is there a natural oil or plant that you love most in a product?
How many balms do you have in your drawer? If you are anything like me, then you will have heard of the multiple balms which can be used for almost everything needed in your beauty regime. Mary Elizabeth have a gorgeous Spearmint and Tea Tree Nurture Balm which I have been using for the past month and am loving at the moment for prepping my lips for the summer snogs (to my husband of course). With the cold weather still hitting us hard here in the North East of England and the chill still blistering through as I walk on the school runs, my lips are still feeling the cold and at times can become sore and chapped. I always welcome the balms but this one seemed a little different with a natural exfoliant within helping with those dry areas and they smoothen as you apply it until it melts onto the lips leaving a conditioned and soothed feeling on the lips. It comes in a very handy 15ml tub so to me it wont last long on any other larger area if used often as much as it would your lips and I love being able to carry this little tin in my handbag or pocket. With Shea Butter, vitamin enriched oils and beneficial Spearmint and Tea Tree Essential Oils , this nurtures balm is my must have item of the month and I would recommend this to anyone looking for luscious lips this summer, so get prepping. You can buy this product from Maryelizabethbodycare.com for only £7.00. Usually I can not use mint on my lips as I feel it irritates and sometimes burns or stings my lips , I found this out during using some plumping products which carried mint in their products but this does not have that unwanted feeling what so ever and if anything it actually soothes my lips instantly .
Not only is this product good for your lips but these other areas too -

Blemishes have appeared worse than ever before and although I have tried quite a few things to diminish them nothing seems to be working fully and the redness along with the dry patches just seem to be putting me down . A couple of years a go I had heard of this wonderful new invention called Clayspray and just as described it was basically clay in a tin making it a face mask alternative to those terrible bundles of sachets we would normally buy which looked terrible when you had a collection as they looked messy and untidy. It really did make sense that someone would finally put it into a canister of some sort and make it in a larger scale for us . This weekend, I decided to grab one of those little messy sachets from my drawer of to try products and although it was not as pretty looking as the bottle I would have loved to have in my drawer it was still the same product and for my first try of the product , a great way to test which one would be best for my skin. What they say about their product - Red clay with spring water and hydrogels face treatment for oily/ blemished skin types.
First of all, I know you are thinking ''well it is for oily skin and you have dry'', but the truth is , the dry patches are only in certain areas , mainly around my nose which is my most troubled area as in the summer , this is where the oiliest skin will form so it takes its change in different seasons. No matter what season though, my skin seems to get those blemishes that seem to never go nor reduce in redness or size and the blemishes are the parts of my face which I feel need the most attention. Ingredients - CLAY (ARGILLA), WATER (AQUA), CARDAMOM (ELETTARIA CARDAMOMUM) SEED OIL, SODIUM POLACRY;ATE, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE. Can be bought from Clayspray.com for £25.00 for 50g My thoughts on this product -
My first impressions were on the fact that this face mask comes from a canister, I can not actually comment on how easily it releases from the canister as this is something I wish I could comment on but unfortunately did not have the canister to hand . I was really interested in knowing how such a rather thick product came from a spray . I have found that some creams that have been used in this way have struggled and clogged up the nozzle making it difficult to use again after a certain time . From a sachet is as expected though although I did have to use two sachets to get a full face coverage due to the very small size of the sachet. I love how Clayspray has been formulated for many needs of the skin such as Pore Refining, Brightening, Toning and Mattifying . The Mask that I used was the Red Clay mineral treatment, used for oily and blemished skin . The texture was just as expected , smooth and very clay like. It dried in seconds which made the waiting process a lot quicker than usual . When the clay is wet , it gives off a lovely scent, I can only describe it as chocolate and I was hoping it would stay but once the formula dried it soon disappeared, leaving no scent at all. I love how all of the Clayspray products are free from preservatives, parabens and perfumes, not only that but they are cruelty free and natural and they are perfectly suitable to be used by Vegans and pregnant woman . In each treatment, both red and white masks hold 60 - 65% of pure clay and the rest of their products are combined with spring water which is filtered through rocks and other natural ingredients. I did wonder as to how the clay stopped itself from sticking to the inside of the bottle itself and after finding out the product is actually sealed inside a inner bag surrounded by air pressure it gives a closer insight as to how the clay stays fresh , hygienic and always ready to use. The clay applied to the face smoothly and I felt no discomfort or snagging on the skin but you do need to be quick applying it due to the fact it dries so fast . As the clay dried, I felt my face tightening (typically the door went and my children got a little frightened as I walked out of my bedroom with a face looking like my skin had turned to stone and started to crack ). I felt no irritation , no itchiness or soreness at all , it felt really relieving for me . After only 5 minutes the mask had dried and I decided to keep it on for another 5 unsure how long to keep it on for . It took some removing. Not a massive downside for me , but it did take more than a few face wipes which I have done in the past for quickness. This time I spent my time releasing it from my face with warm water and it took a good five minutes to get of completely. Once my face was dry , I found my skin felt a little dry in places, especially my forehead and nose bridge area but leaving the skin to settle for another 10 minutes , I found it settled on its own leaving my skin feeling very soft and smooth. I do find the price is a little high and will not highly recommend to everyone as this is a treat for the more indulgent spenders . The whole concept of this Clayspray for me is fantastic . I love to enjoy a face mask once a week or even fortnightly so this for me would be a great treat but I would find using a more hydrating formula would better my experience such as the white clay mineral treatment masque . Have you given Clayspray a try yet, what do you think of a face mask in a canister? Ok , do not tell me you are not getting excited that summer is coming. I honestly can not wait for this summer, not only do I have the new home and garden to prepare but the tanning mousse, lotions and sprays are going to be lining up ready for those lilly whites to be coloured in to look like I have actually got away on holiday which we all know will never happen any time soon, especially with the surprise that was sprung upon me this month. The great thing about tanning products is that you can go as light as you like to the darkest of dark if you want to go with the dramatic look, for me, I really do not care for which shade it is , as long as it is not orange, it does not go patchy and looks natural . I often find that the mousse works best for me. I always ensure that I exfoliate and shave the day before so to settle my pores and leave time for my skin to gain that natural oil to help diminish the dry patches that usually occur around my knees and ankles . Sunkissed recently asked me to review their new Rapid Tan Mousse in Medium and of course I was more than happy to oblige so I have enjoyed a wonderful much needed pamper just for the occasion and here is it. The Sunkissed Rapid Tan can be bought from Sunkissed.co.uk for only £4.99, now that to me is a bargain for the bargain hunters out there seen as most of the others I have tried are double that in price , either a bargain or an excuse to grab two and keep one for spare for when you run out . What they have to say about their product. (QUOTED) The Sunkissed Rapid Tan will turn you beautifully bronzed in just 60minutes. This new formulation develops within just one hour of application, and delivers a long-lasting, natural looking tan. The light-weight mousse in a ‘medium’ colour absorbs and dries quickly on the skin with key active ingredients speeding up the tanning process, resulting in a more intense tan, quickly. Like all Sunkissed tanning products it super easy to apply and it dries almost immediately; whilst Aloe Vera and Vitamin E helps to moisturise your skin. The best bit, like all our Sunkissed tans…it smells delicious! Ingredients. AQUA, DIHYDROXYACERTONE, ETHOXYDIGLYCOL, BUTANE, ALCOHOL DENAT, GLYCERIN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ISOBUTANE, PROPANE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, CITRIC ACID, PARFUM, POLYSORBATE-20, PHENOXYETHANOL, LINALOOL, CI16035, CI42090, CI19140 This product does not contain a sunscreen so please be aware that you still need to apply sunscreen on top of this product when wearing . My thoughts - Packaging - I love the packaging, although there really is something I am not keen on about tinned products, it keeps the product cool for application and looks sleek and is easy to clean . Price - As I have already stated, some of the tanning products I have previously tried have been at some times double if not triple in price to this affordable £4.99 is to me a fare price which is great for the bargain hunters or those looking for a cheaper option . Scent - The scent is what actually has me loving this product even more, not only does it not smell like a tanning lotion but it actually smells of sweet coconut which settles subtly on the skin and lasts during the whole day. Application- I always ensure I use a tanning mitt when applying self tan due to the many bad experiences I have had before this which have ended up with streaky legs and terrible uneven colour . You can buy their mitt for £3.99 which is reusable and excellent for keeping that tan from applying to the palms of your hands which is usually the first give away for the fakers out there. The product is as expected, it is very light weight and goes on smoothly with no struggle or snagging at the skin at all and once the Rapid Tan is applied to the skin it takes no time at all to soak in and dry . So what is the finish like? Result? So what do I think and will I use this product again? This product for me was so easy to use, so simple and the results were fast and accurate a to what I needed.
I was initially surprised as to how fast the mousse sprayed from the canister . I only pressed it slightly and it burst out with enough product to do both legs at once and it looked rather scaringly dark until I smothered it over the skins surface. The texture was silky and soft so I felt no snagging of the product, I could barely feel it bar from the coolness. The tan soaked into the skin immediately and I had no time to wait before I could actually put on my clothes to shoot downstairs as the door went with a delivery I had not wanted to miss, it really took no time at all to develop and in fact it developed way before the 60 minutes it said it would on the tin itself. I only needed to apply one layer as you can clearly see it is tanned enough and if I went another layer I think it would be too much for my very white milky tone. I found this product to be very pigmented and although my pores usually get the fake tan build up it was not as noticeable as others have been and I would be comfortable enough to wear this again. I loved the finishing look and after comparing it to the self tan mousse I have tried previously from them , this is now my most loved of their self tanning products. So what do you think, are you feeling liking getting ready for the summer too now, let me know what you think of the Sunkissed Rapid Tan. |
