My Swap box finally returned

Over the past two years I have swapped with some very lovely ladies and there is nothing more pleasing than knowing you have bought them some lovely items at a small budget, the budget is usually set at around £30 but as you can see I always go that extra mile , but sometimes swaps go wrong.

I done a swap over xmas and I was astonished at the response I received from my swappee. Never have I felt soo upset and angry at the ungratefullness . They waited to receive my swap before telling me it was disgusting and unthoughtful and I was not getting a box in return and yet I had tried nothing more than to send a great box. I was blocked before I decided to attempt one last time to get my box back and got alot of abuse and my name talked about and so I posted into a group of swappers till I recieved a reply saying she would return it, (along with her and her friends giving me more abuse and trying to make my box look terrible).

I am not a person to let others get to me especially when they try to bully others in a group .

Here are the items I sent , I will let you make your own mind up whether it was a reasonable box or not when the budget was meant to be £30 . IT WAS NOT A SPECIFIED SWAP BOX , WE DID NOT CHOOSE WHAT WE WERE RECEIVING. I never received the swappees box and I certainly did not ask to be name called and bullied by a bunch of grown woman.
I will do swaps again, there are amazing ladies out there who I have done amazing swaps with ,  but my message is this:-
Be careful who you swap with , not everyone wants to be your friend.
If you truly dont know the person behind the swap. Theres always a chance it  will turn out drastically wrong, choose your swappee carefully and always make sure you get to know them a little before sending

That is such a good box, easily worth more than the agreed amount. Though even if it was at £30 and not somebody's idea, still absolutely no call to be abusive. So sorry you had to put up with that. I would have loved the box.

Thankyou, I think the downfall of doing an unspecified swap box is theres always a chance you will receive something you dont like , we learn from our mistakes , I get to at least use them myself now x

Hun u already know my thoughts in this box. I think its amazing and even if it wasnt to someones tasteu can tellthe effort and expense uve put into making this a really fantastic box. Anyone who geta on the way they did to u needs to take a good look at themselves and grow up. Unbelievable that they think what theyre saying and doing is okay. Loopers the lot of them.

Completely agree, we have had successful swaps previously and NEVER EVER was there a problem with how you packaged or what you sent. There were no smells/odours/hairs and the insults that were thrown at you were completely unwarranted. I left the page after this as I felt expectations were too high and people had become greedy. The swap you received I would have been unhappy with as well as it was predominantly used. It made me realise that I no longer wanted any part of that community. Greed, pure and simple.

How rude I would have been more than happy to have got a box like that in a swap. Just shows that some people are never happy.

thankyou hun, I have done many swaps before and some have been amazing its just the very few people who try to take advantage hun and ruin it for other swappees, it gives you the chance to try things you would never normally try or items that is not available to you in this country x

Well, looking at this lovely selection, I can definetely see you kept up your end of the swap. It's just such a shame that there are some scurrilous untrustworthy people put some people off participating in something which should be fun and enjoyable.

Thankyou for your kind words Vicky. There most definalty are and I will learn form my mistakes and be more weary of who I swap with in the future. People can get greedy and those who try to ruin it for others only end up ruining it for themselves xx

oh hello Terri , i have just clicked who you are my good ole school pal lol, hope your well, theres alot of pages on facebook , blogging communities on the web where these happen, but basically you could do it with anyone , you could first try it with a close friend , give each other a budget and tell them the things you love and hate in beauty products, give them a hint to what items are on your wishlist for this year, check mine out on my last post , then make a time to send it by , its nice to do a birthday swap box if you have close birthdays or xmas , any event or time which is suited for you both, enjoy it have fun and respect eachother in not sending them used or out of date products, if you send a nice presented box with new and unused itemss you cant go wrong x
