My Weekend look and new ideas.

Being stuck at home all the time can be depressing and so I decided to put some makeup on , do my hair and wear a nice dress. 
I got a new one last month and still have not worn it so the navy skater came out tags and all.

The dress is a navy skater style dress with a lovely white lace embroidery around the waist and has short sleeves.

It is very comfortable and can be bought from Ax Paris for £30 in many different colours.

I feel soo comfortable in this that I would love some in other shades for summer .

I feel elegant and classic and the lace contrast at first scared me but now I like it .
The length is ok and paired with tights can change the whole look altogether. I feel more comfortable with tights , I think it is because my legs are soo white they no longer look mine so will have to tan up ready for summer .

It took me 6 years to grow my hair out of a drastic mistake I made . I have always had blonde hair but I fancied a change and tried the home kits to lighten it  which turned it the wrong colour and ruined my hair.

I went to a local salon to ask what to do and they ridiculously said dying my hair a darker shade would help hide the horrendous shade it had turned,so I booked myself in, payed £60 and they turned it a really dark, nearly black. I was horrrified . I looked like Morticia Adams with my light complexion against it and I went back 2 days later and complained as my hair was ruined totally, each strand of my hair was like elastic and was snapping soo easily I was scared it would all just fall out.
They apologised and told me that the best thing to do was to let my hair settle, not colour it no more and grow the lot out.

After 6 years it eventually started to look like my hair again after I chopped alot of it out and put up with the dreaded mistake.

Never again will I colour it .

The only downfall now is that I was was born with gorgeous thick hair and it can become soo unmanageable that it knots easily in seconds of brushing.

I have resolved myself to buying wigs to hide my hair because it has become so thick I simply have no time or unable to make it look presentable without spending ages each morning straightening it. To be honest the heat is no good for my hair either all the time so if its not able to be hidden under a wig then I have to tie it up and I do not suit my hair up at all.

This week I have been booked in by my husband with a lovely lady in our village to give it a good trimming. I do not want it cutting , I wish to keep the length as I want it as long as it will grow but it most definately needs thinning so I will be going for some layers and shapening  to make it easier for me to handle.

These are the various looks I wore the past year with wearing my Annabelles wigs , all shapes and colours .

Not sure what to wear yet today , but I am excited for my new hair cut Thursday. Think I will stay in my PJ's and have a duvet day. It has become rather quiet in my house and I have nothing to do other than washing clothes.
