There is something about body butters that become rather addictive . I love how easily they go on my skin and melt immediately and the scents that come from the Body shop body butters always make me want more . The body butter I wanted to share with you today is one that Ii can not actually find on their online store no more but they still do the collection and I for one recommend it for the scent alone as well as the added benefit of the softness it leaves my skin feeling when I use it . When I was little my mum always used just one scent and it was White Musk from the Body Shop. Each year I would ask what she wanted for her birthday and Christmas and each answer was the same. ''Just get me a bottle of the White Musk Oil perfume please'' So every year I did and my mum smelt of White musk and that is the scent I remember her by . It is more a memorable scent for me and each time I get a lovely whiff of White Musk , I think of her and when I got this , I found myself adding it onto my skin to get that aroma with added happy memories of mum. The difference with this scent is that the original was the basic White Musk with a mix of notes including musk, lily, rose and vanilla but this also has a floral musk with sweet notes of Turkish delight, baby orchid and Chantilly cream. To me the scents are very familiar to each other and I absolutely adore it. Ingredients - Aqua/Water, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii/Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea butter), Olea Europaea Fruit Oil/Olea Eurpaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil, Cocoa-Caprylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil/ Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter/Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, PEG-100 Stearate, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil/Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Parfum/Fragrance, Cera Alba/Beeswax/ Cire d'abeille, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Maltodextrin, Xanthan Gum, Linalool, Tocopherol, Disodium EDTA, Limonene, Sodium Hydroxide, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hibiscus Abelmoschus Seed Extract, Citronellol, Eugenol, Citric Acid. 200ml costs only £13 From Thebodyshop.ie I never used to be a fan of highly scented Girly products, In fact I was always more drawn to the masculine scents but since around three years ago , my love for the florals and fruity scents have grown and that was all thanks to another body butter from Body Shop which was the amazing Satsuma body butter . Since then , my love for this brand and the scents have rapidly grown into my own little world of delight. A lot of body creams and butters leave a scent for a short while but it is rare that I can get the aroma through out the whole day , body butters from this brand especially never seem to amaze me that even the day after applying I can still smell them.
I would definitely wear this all year round, I find it is a scent that is accepted in all weathers and times of day. You do not need a lot of this body butter either, A little goes a very long way and it spreads easily onto the skin without leaving any greasy residue behind but instead you get amazingly soft and subtle skin. This rather large tub is lasting me forever . Do you have a favourite Body butter ?

I love body butter but have had to be careful with what I use as I suffer with chronic psoriasis! This looks lovely however, I think I am going to have to buy some and make it last a long time due to my skin! Thank you for sharing! x

I rarely, if ever buy body butters, although I really should. My sister has a couple and they smell so tasty you just want to eat it haha. Anything with a pink packaging for me is always a good thing :p x

I like the sound of that - body butters are great after a luxurious bath and white musk is a favourite fragrance.

I have a soft spot for a Body Shop vanilla body cream I was once given. I used it on my bump when I was pregnant with my first child and now every time I smell it I get happy memories :)
