Caudalie Beauty Elixir , My thoughts
Part-toner, part-serum mist of essential oils and plant active ingredients.
Smoothes the skin, tightens the pores, and provides an instant burst of radiance, as it stimulates microcirculation.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
A beauty mist inspired by the “elixir of youth” used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary, this mist smoothes features, tightens pores and provides an instant burst of radiance to the complexion.
This is a refreshing spray, more for something indulgent and soothing rather than an actual toner. It has a herbal medicinal scent which I love. This is great for refreshing your skin in hot weather and setting powder makeup.
It's super refreshing ... and I can use it under moisturizer, or as a quick fix for makeup after a couple hours.
Sensitive skin be aware as the mint could prove too much. A quick mist produces a tingle on my face so I imagine this could prove worst for those with sensitive skin, test a spot prior to application all over your face.
Those with dry skin be aware as well since this does make my drier face feel a tad on the tight side but following up with moisturizer eases it easily.
I am overall not as impressed as others . Somehow think the hype of it has been overated and maybe they were just been nice but in my honest opinion, I wont be repurchasing this again, its a lot of money for the average mist and doesnt do much for my skin at all .
