I have been asked to review the Face Matters range and of course I was more than excited when I received them in the post.

                                       ''FEEL THE DIFFERENCE, FEEL FLAWLESS''

Sally Curson the creator, had one simple aim and she said it was   ''to harness nature and to help hold back time''. and in 2012 with 20 years experience in the beauty industry she launched Face Matters.Peter Hunter, who was the UK distributor for Burt’s Bees and an influential force in the UK beauty industry, has discovered Face Matters and is now a shareholder in the business. We all know how fantastic his own products are so it is definatly one to keep an eye on.

No petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrance, or synthetic colours and more importantly for me, these products are not tested on animals.

There are 5 products in total  :-

Anytime cleanser - 100ml - £30
A beautifully effective-yet-gentle foaming cleanser.

All day pure collagen spritz - 100ml - £40
This is a pure liquid collagen to be used daily to stimulate the production of collagen and ellastin.

Morning Moisture - 50g - £50
A Light and soothing cream , this daily moisture cream envelops the skin in comfort and enhances natural hydration.

24/7 Balm - 50g - £45
A multi-functional luxury balm which includes our powerful collagen boost to give a super restorative treatment.

Evening Elixir - 30ml - £85
A unique and potent formula of botanical oils and pure organic silicon.

My Honest Opinion-

Price-
First of all , the word ''Collogen'' scares the cooties out of me. I wont use it lightly and a lot of products claiming to have this effect are rather expensive . This product definately is expensive , Ranging from £30 to £85, its a little out of price range for me .

The packaging-
The bottles are exactly what I would expect from a luxury beauty product .... They are made form glass with a elegance feel to them. This is perfect for me as I love a solid bottle or tub that looks fantastic for the dresser or bathroom.

The scent-
This has to be one of those products that I do and dont like because of its smell, I absolutely love the lemony fresh scent of the cleanser and elixer , it automatically awakens you but then you have the cleansing balm which literally smells of the mix of
Shea Butter, Rose, Geranium, together for me smells like an old ladies scent.

Why?

From your mid twenties your natural collagen supply starts to decrease hense why this product would be perfectly suitable from late 20′s onwards. Being a mum of 7 and having to tackle the sleepless nights and not having all the time to pamper myself as much as us mums would like to , this is the perfect solution to getting everything I need at home. It is basically the full package, so no need for 20 different bottles and tubs and the many ingredients anymore.
Because of the price tag, how long will these products last me?

These products do come in nice sized packaging, but with only 6 month expiry date it could be costly for two lots of these a year costing you £500 . If you go by the directions, it could cost you even more as this would in fact only last around 3 months therefore costing you £1000 a year, but most important factor here is  ''Is It Worthit ?''

The results-

Anytime Cleanser-
My first impressions of this is the fantactic smelling lemon that refreshes you instantly , I personally love this in a cleanser as the lemon is also the one ingredient I know that helps fight those nasty bacterias in your skin. This is perfectly fabulous with its foamy texture.
It contains blends of aloe, argan and pure organic silicon and by gently massaging this into my skin, I feel revitalised and clean. This is a fabulous cleanser on its own and I would recommend this because it is gentle to use on sensitive skin and has no harmfull ingredients .

All day spritz-
To be honest , I would love all of the Face Matters to come in this bottle , however it has no smell at all which I would have liked  . I have used this twice daily and it absorbs perfectly and the effects are instant. My skin looks more brighter and smoother which is perfect for a tired mum like me.
I dont think I have tried any other spritz like it. I feel like my skin has toned up yet has not tightened to the point its uncomfortable.

Morning Moisture-
This cream really is lovely , it is soo light that it absorbs easily , conditioning my skin and making my face feel subtle. It does not have much of a scent to it which is fine unless you prefer a scented moisturiser but to me the effects counter that .

24/ Balm-
Ok , so you know I will be honest in my opinions and to me this is a let down compaired to the other products, the smell is horrible, I cant stand the smell of rose and Geranium and I simply did not enjoy using it because I could not stand the smell being on my skin as it lingered for quite some time. However the texture is like vaseline and easy to apply. After leaving it on my skin for a few minutes then wiping it off, it left my skin feeling soo soft that I just couldnt resist running down staires asking my husband to stroke my face, so if you can get past the scent of it , it is a lovely product .

Evening Elixer-
Now this is the magic of it all. Event thought the price tag is a costly £85 this luxurious beauty Elixer is a must have.
For all those restless nights and slow signs of ageing starting to show around the eyes and the forehead, this product promises to reduce the signs of those drasted wrinkles or lines.
The smell is of lemon like the cleanser and I just wish the others were all the same too becasue it truly makes you feel fresher before using it.
The instant gratification of using this product is 100% effective. On the first use, you can visible see signs of smooth, flawless, and more brighter looking toned skin. This product has had such an effect that I even dare to walk to the shops without my makeup on. I feel and look even younger since using it. It truly is magical. The only downfall for me is the pricetag. Not sure if I could ever afford it being a mum of 7 .

                                                Something close to my heart:

A percentage of the profits of the sales of Face Matters is                                           donated to a charity refuge for woman and children effected by                                        domestic violence after being a victim of domestic violence.
