We all know the importance of removing every piece of make up , dirt and grime from our faces before we go to bed.
For me it can be a tiring routine which can take me some time especially around my eyes as I have a a tendency to wear a lot of eye liner and mascara to emphasise those small eyes into bold beauties.
If you have ever tried to remove eye liner , especially the type which does not shift with a scouring pad
(I advice not to try this as I have a nicer, friendlier way of helping your eyes)
you will know it can leave your eyes feeling sore and the skin feeling tight.
I hate nothing more than the worry of getting it all off without blinding myself.
I have tried some products before where they have been to strong that they have left my skin feeling stingy and the natural oils around my eyes have been stripped .
For me I expect a eye make up remover to be kind and gentle and up until now I have not liked any.
This is where I introduce you to -
Lancome Double Action Eye make up remover.
Of course this is only a small 50ml size bottle which was kindly sent to me by the fabulous Dave Lackie a couple of months ago when I won one of his many competitions he holds along with some other gorgeous Lancome beauties.
You can however buy the full size from Debenhams

What I have to say about this product-
Ii know how important it is to have a good product that takes care of one of the important senses - our eyes!
To me using something that removes my make up with no harm or pain is worth every penny, even if it is £21 .
This packaging is fabulous.
The sea clear blue bottle makes it look so fresh and I love how they have intigrated their lancome flower onto it still .
The safety cap type lid makes it easy for me to store with no worry it will leak or spill.
I do wish I had the full size bottle , it would look perfect in my bathroom along with the other Lancome beauties .
Ok so we already know how sceptical I am of these things but I am happy to say I was surprised at how this worked so well.
I have to admit , this eye make up remover has changed my routine altogether.
You firstly need to know that you have to shake the bottle to activate and mix the ingredients inside otherwise if you look at the picture you will see the separation .
I was expecting to rub and scrub at my make up but I went in with caution not knowing if this had strong ingredients that would damage my sensitive skin .
Luckily for me it felt amazing.
Not only did it smoothly roll across my skin but it removed my eye liner and mascara with no need to rub at all.
I was actually surprised when I went in for a third cotton pad and found that I only needed two wipes to remove it considering I usually need half a bottle of anything lol.
That's right only two dabs of this wonderful product and my eyes were completely clean and more to the point I felt no discomfort or tightness .
If anything it left my eyes feeling refreshed and alive .
I am very happy with this eye make up remover and would definitely recommend it especially if your like me and shy away from products that can irritate your sensitive eyes.
It really is like a kiss on the eyelids using this.
Have you tried this before, will you?
Let me know .
