  • What they have done so far - Monu have always been concerned about the impact that their business could have on the environment, and have sought to minimise their greenhouse gas emissions by committing to various initiatives.

  • Recyclable packaging - All of Monu's glass, plastic and aluminium bottles and tubes are recyclable. Their cartons are recyclable and are made from bleach free board. They ensure that they source all of their paper products from sustainable forests.

Monu offer A shop by skin Type  option-
  •  Dry & Sensitive

  • Normal & Combination,

  • Mature

  •  Oily skin,

They also have an option for all skin types or by product type.
This makes it easy to navigate and find the products that you are looking for ensuring you have the correct product to suit your skin needs.

In researching this product I have found that Monu also have a unique partnership with a brand called Dermaco and although they have very similar morals about the natural ingredients , Dermaco prices are a little more than Monu themselves .
Picture
So as you can see above , there is nothing that concerns me about having this Brand Monu on my skin.

I feel safe knowing that the ingredients of the products and the products themselves have been tested on other humans and they hold natural oils that can only be good for me.

In fact I have already enjoyed this Skincare Range and you can see my review for one of  their Tanworx Range here .

The natural products they use in their products make a self tan even look natural, I was very impressed.

Monu sent me one of their most loved Products-  The Enriched Body Cream .

This Item can be bought from Monu for £20 for a large 200ml tub.

What my thoughts are on Monu Spa's Enriched Body Cream -

Packaging-
For me , the idea of having more of a product in the minimalist packaging is always a great thing.
This 200ml hard plastic tub comes in a cardboard square box which for me is uneeded as I will eventually remove it from the box and have it sitting on my dresser but it does make it look more professional .
I understand that this is something that would be greatly needed if someone purchases this as a gift for someone to look more presentable but I would love to see brands offer an option for their packaging of their products when they have their products packaged like this.

The crisp white packaging is eye catching as the mustard green wraps around the packaging and it gives a sense of freshness about it .
You can find all the information needed about the brand and the product just by looking at it.

Scent -
There is nothing worse than owning a body cream that you apply every single day that smells of chemicals and lingers into a nasty smell all day.
For me I like a refreshing scent , something that is natural yet stays on my skin for a long length of time with an invigorating aroma.
This cream has that with its Lemon and orange blast of coolness.
You can also smell a warm woody smell (Rosewood) which then makes the whole thing smell floral but fruity and I like that, especially as the citrus scent comes through more.
The scent to me is something I love and actually reminds me of a lemon cologne my mum used to buy from Turkey every year when visiting.

The Enriched Body Cream  -
As you may know already , I am quite fussy with cream consistancy. I like a nice thick cream that I can smother on my thirsty skin.
I also hate anything that leaves a greasy feeling on my skin .
This Body cream is not as thick as my current body cream but still holds its shape as a thick cream should, but as you rub it into your skin it spreads evenly like butter and dries very quickly.
There is no greasy feel left behind and all I feel baby smooth and my skin is so soft.

Marine collagen is something I have never heard of but owning my own marine tank, I was very interested to see if it was infact anything to do with fish and here is what it is.

Marine collagen-
Marine collagen is a material derived from the substance found on fish scales.
Ok so having fish scale substances on my face was the last thing I was expecting in this product but there is most definitely no texture or scent of fish at all so this does not bother me what so ever.
The interesting find about this is that this collagen is natural and the Japanese have been using this for years as an anti ageing product to diminish signs of ageing and also decrease the negative effects of toxins.
Monu have definitely done their research on finding the best natural products .

My conclusion -
This product holds so many beneficial ingredients land essential oils that are pure and natural for my skin.
You have cocoa butter to help dry skin to soften and protect, Chamomile and Liquorice to soothe, Vitamin A to repair and soften and Vitamin E to work as an antioxidant and cell repair vitamin and also Vitamin B5 to help promote a healthy balance of moisture.

I love how the cream soaks into my skin and leaves a refreshing zesty scent which refreshens not only body but also my senses.

My ski feels amazing after the use of this and over the past week it has been a lovely edition to my daily routine.

Ii only need to use a small amount to get the coverage I need and like I said before my ski is very thirsty so if I am only needing  a small amount I am sure this will last a long time for me .

Recommendation?
I would recommend this product, especially if you are looking for a planet friendly product which uses only the finest and best natural  ingredients needed to give you benefits such as nourished and rejuvenated skin .
Monu is most definitely for everyone, even those who have sensitive skin.

Have you tried Monu before, will you?

For me it all comes down to price. I refuse to be conned into paying through the nose for questionable results. If the price is right, I'll try it.

I have issues with parabens and SLS, SLA and they make my skin really red, so I love things that are not chemical if there is a way for them not to be. Looks like a great brand
