Skin care has become something I now realize to be very important in my every day routine . It was only 4 years ago I really started getting into a good regime where I cleanse, tone and moisturize daily and I seen the effects instantly helped my skin glow and replenish . Over the years , my skin has had an outbreak due to the change of area we moved to recently, the water is a lot harsher than where I've lived previously and it has definitely effected the look of my skin, especially on my face. My skin was always blemish free and it has only taken 1 year for that to drastically change and my skin now has red, flaky areas around my nose which are seriously bothering me and effecting my confidence. My skin is very thirsty , it always has been and I'm used to that so a thick cream was always needed yet now my skin needed something more and my usual cream was no longer working for me so I was very happy when Sk:n got in touch and asked me if I would give their creams a try. I had not heard of this brand before so I very open to hope that it would help my red blotchy areas disappear although optimistic and a little scared like I always am trying new things. I actually then found out just one week after receiving my creams that Sk:n have many clinics and one of them was at a hospital we were attending at James Cook in Middlesbrough. To be honest the word clinic scares me , I often think of unnatural and harsh chemicals but I was surprised how kind these creams were and they certainly did not smell harsh like others I have come across. Knowing they were used in a large hospital made me feel comfortable that they were friendly to use on my skin. The packaging was very fresh and clean looking in its crisp white bottles and tubes and I actually loved how simple they appeared . It made me able to see exactly what it was needed for , what was in them and I felt safe being able to see it clearly . Sk:n Sun screen SPF 30 , 100ML - £22.25 Every Year I use sun cream , but I have to admit that I do not use it as often as I should . I made the mistake of only wearing sun cream when I was not wearing makeup and now I understand that using a sun cream daily is essential. I've now replaced my daily cream with the Sk:n restore and protect Sunscreen which means my skin is protected and It also makes a wonderful moisturized base for my makeup to be applied if needed to. The sunscreen is lovely and thick to the touch but blends well and easy into the skin making it dissolve instantly without leaving a sticky residue which I find with other brands of sun care products. There is a slight scent to the cream but nothing overpowering and in fact I was surprised to find it had a clean aroma and not that of a chemical based skin care product which you would normally expect from a clinical brand. I have seen a dramatic change in my skin since using this for the past month with help from their cleanse and exfoliate range added alongside it . Sk:n Facial Exfoliating Cleanser for all Skin types , 200ml - £28.00 Their facial exfoliating cleanser states it is for all skin types so is gentle for even the most sensitive of skins which was great due to the fact that my skin felt very sore on the red blotchy patches where my skin was peeling. I love cleansers but they tend to be very milky usually and I for one love a thick cream on my thirsty skin so I was relieved to find this was a lovely thick based cleanser . My skin loved it instantly and in fact took a little time to take it in . I felt like my face and neck area was getting a thorough clean but more importantly to me the moisture was still there, not stripping the essential oils form my face. I usually find gritty parts in my exfoliation cleansers but this was not like any other I had tried at all. I t really did cleanse my skin and although I could not feel an exfoliation happening , I felt like I had had a full facial by the time I had rinsed it all of . It was so gentle I felt refreshed and I definitely think this along with the sun cream has helped my skin become more cleared dramatically over the past month as the big red blotch that was on my nose area has now completely disappeared . Sk:n Brightening and firming eye cream, 20ml - £25.50 The last product was something I do not usually use but with all the sleepless and restless nights I really should with the blacks under my eyes . I have to be honest I am terrified of putting anything near my eyes as they are very sensitive to creams and other things I have used . Due to them sending me the age defying brightening and firming eye cream I decide to give it a try. I loved the look of it and the fact that it dispensed a tiny amount which is all that was needed at a time making it less likely to waste any product. The cream was lovely to feel on the skin and smoothed into my skin perfectly but unfortunately it was just to much for my eyes and I was in complete agony that I could no longer carry on using it . I was rather upset that this was unlike the their products. The sunscreen and cleanser were so gentle and helped my skin immensely but this was not so gently for me. So for the products I have tested over this past month , I have been very impressed with two of the products out of the three . My skin has changed its appearance, it is a lot more cleaner and clearer and it has a more refreshing glow . The blotchiness has now disappeared and I feel so much more confident in my skin . Thankyou to Sk:n for sending me these products . The brand Sk:n is one of the UK's leading skin clinics offering a variety of treatments and products to bring out the best in your complexion, promoting inner and outer beauty.

2 out of 3 isn't bad. It's such a shame about the eye cream that's one that I might have considered.

The products sound great, especially the sunscreen. I have noticed recently that with the passing of the years we need more and more SPF to protect us from the sun, and the fact that this sunscreen has 30 is really good!

I think good products make such a huge difference to skin and how it ages.

So glad you had a great experience with the products (except the eye obviously) and that it helped with your skin struggles. I was always a nightmare with skincare but in the last year I've realised I can't be going half arsed about it anymore. I love the sound of the exfoliating cleanser

We have a skin clinic in our town and my daughter went to see them last year. She really loved all their creams and still uses them now!

This looks like a lovely range of products. I am terrible about looking after my skin in the sun and really need to be better. Even though I know all the risks I always feel like Manchester doesn't get enough sun to bother
