Price- £14.99 may seem a little steep to some but considering this can be a life changing product for some in the respect it can reduce and improve those stretch marks . I know myself that I wish I had used it in the process of growing a bump and over stretching the skin as I have what I call My map of my babies entering the world If I knew what I know now , that using a product like this one would reduce those marks , I would certainly have had no quarms about spending this amount of money. Packaging- I have to admit, the packaging has had some what a nightmare for delivery, my first bottle in fact was shattered and leaked into the envelope and I merely received a soggy mess. Luckily the team at Shea Mooti were happy to send me another bottle which arrived safely the second time. Apart from the small mishap of getting it here the packaging is quite ordinary for an oil . It comes in a plastic bottle, brown in colour (I am not sure what it is with this colour bottle but I would have preferred a clear one) and the lid has a pop open lifting cap. My only downside to the packaging is that the lid comes loose and having to pour the oil from the pop lid can be quite messy sometimes but other than it has a pretty label showing the gorgeous logo of the Shea tree which they are proud to have as their main ingredient of their products. Scent- To me , the majority of natural and organic products smell pretty much the same and I tend not to enjoy them so much but this has a lovely relaxing aroma almost like a new born baby and I can smell the lavender and mandarin orange coming through. Conclusion- So for me oils can be rather messy and I hate the feel of greasiness and having to sit there drying with the natural air for hours on end while the world passes me by . Fortunately for me my skin is very thirsty , it is not dry , but it tends to soak everything in like a sponge and this is no exception . The oil takes only seconds to soak I and I have no oily feeling left, in fact my skin feels moisturised and fresh. I love that it smells gorgeous, it is totally organic and contains ethically sourced virgin shea butter, cocoa butter and nourishing omega rich baobab and jojoba oils. It is fragranced with lavender oil and mandarin oil which I actually do not mind . The fact that it says it is for stretch marks not only means it is for those pregnant ladies or post pregnant ladies but can also be used on male, females and all over the body not just the tummy area. For me I love using this oil on my hands , especially when I have dry cuticles and knuckles , it nourishes them straight away and you see and feel a difference instantly. My skin feels amazingly soft and subtle and because there is no nasties I am assured it is all good for me with no fear (which I have regular) that I may get some sort of an allergic reaction. The scent is lovely and relaxing but it does not linger as strongly after an short while of wearing it which is fine . My only hate for this product is the fact I wish I had found it earlier , my whole body enjoys it , I think I may even ask the hubby to give me a full body massage later with it , after all , us ladies love a good pamper. So have you tried this brand, will you?
