So the summer has most certainly disappeared from my radar and the self tan is needed even more now for me as my skin is terrible for catching natural tans (plus I do not like sunbathing ). Winter is the time when I like to apply my natural tans even more so the fact there are more events such as my birthday, hubbys birthday, halloween, xmas and new year. The problem I have with tan is the phase between it settling into my skin pores and wearing of. I seem to have those terrible deep pores on my legs especially after shaving so when the tan starts wearing it off , it goes terribly streaky and patchy , I end up having to either keep it topped up to hide the tan fading in the wrong places or remove it which has been quite painful sometimes. The easiest way is to wear long trousers or tops which can take some time but hey , no one can see it other than the husband who looks at me like I have something wrong with my skin in shock until I explain it is the tan not me . This is where for the first time , I try to look for something which makes it easier for me to remove self tan. ''Sunkissed exfoliating tan remover!'' Sunkissed exfoliating tan remover can be bought from Superdrug Cost - £2.99 Here is what they have to say about their product- The new SUNKISSED Exfoliating Tan Remover 150ml, perfectly completes your bronzing routine. Formulated with a blend of fruit AHAs, known for their gentle chemical peel action, the exfoliators will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. Apply before tanning to slough away dead skin cells and prepare your skin for tanning or after application to smooth out colour and clean the hands. Ingredients- Aqua (water), cylopentasiloxane, phenyl trimethicone, silica, dimethicone, polyacrylamide, phenoxyethanol, c13-14 isoparaffin, parfum (fragrance), sodium hydroxide, laureth-7, vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract, linalool, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, magnesium chloride, acer saccharum (sugar maple) extract, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) fruit extract, citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract, magnesium nitrate, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone. I have tried the Sunkissed self tanning products before and love them , the natural shade works well on my skin and the smell is something I love most about it. The Sunkissed tan remover is no exception to the brand and the coconut scent is absolutely divine. I am finding myself sniffing at the bottle to get a whiff and it sends me all giddy every time I do so. I am so pleased that the product does not have that terrible chemical smell, this smells natural and that is what I look for in skin care brands . The texture is smoother than I thought , I think I was expecting something a little tougher on the skin , more larger granules but because of the AHA exfoliators you can only slightly feel the exfoliants and it feels amazing on the skin . Your skin is left feeling amazingly soft and nourished and best of all smelling fantastic. I have been using this before tanning to exfoliate the skin and prepare beforehand and also afterwards when it gets to around three weeks and the tan wears of to help remove the left over tan that is in patches especially around the knees and foot area. The Sunkissed Exfoliating tan remover actually helps to reduce those dark tanning marks in the stubborn areas . If you use only a light self tan then this would totally eradicate the tan from the skin and I am hoping they bring out a bigger bottle . The fact that I only wear tan on my legs most times means this will last me a little longer than the full body tanner and I do think for those who are massive in tanning themselves all over , they would benefit from a larger bottle but for the bargain price of only £2.99 why not just buy a load of bottles and stock up , its a bargain anyway. The Sunkissed exfoliating tan remover is my saving angel, no longer do I need to hide those dreaded left behind self tan lines but I also have a fantastic all round exfoliator with an amazing scent and affordable price.
Think I should take heed and stock up and buy more myself! Will you be giving this product a go? Let me know !
