On Saturday , I was invited to go to my dads 60th Birthday celebration and of course was not going to miss it . It is a rare occasion to go out for me , with 7 little ones , no one seems to want to help you out as much as when you have 1 or 2 so when you have the opportunity to get out , even if its for an hour or two , you simply grab the chance and get all excited even if it is only the local pub or club. I seemed to spend the whole day pampering , It had been a very long time since I had spent time tanning, painting nails , colouring hair and of course enjoying a face mask. I thought I would share with you my Chocolate face mask experience. Freeman Uk are a company who have been researching and providing us with botanical ingredients in products for 30 years . How to use - Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. Let dry and rinse with warm water. Here is my face before I used the Face mask- Having cleaned my face , I began by evenly applying the thick clay to my face . The smell of chocolate instantly hits you and you get the slight tint of strawberry in the background . The Chocolate and Strawberry Mask is for attacking those deep pores which I have around my nose and chin area . For some reason chocolate masks always seem more appealing to me than the other boring types like cucumber and such but the combination of adding strawberry made me weak at the knees even more. Having used sachet face masks before I have come to realise that you can actually get more than one use out of them and they are definitely worth the money . I kept the mask on my face for approximately 15 minutes . As you can see in the image below the mask dried well , I could see the my pores more clearly and my fine lines appear more . The aroma of chocolate made me enjoy this product so much , it lingered around me and even when I removed it from my face, I could still smell chocolate. The texture of the product was so creamy clay like but at the same time a little mousse like which made it dreamy to smooth on the face and easier still to get an even application. Whilst the clay mask dried onto my skin, I could feel my skin getting tighter as the product slowely worked into the skin and although having a stiff face for a couple of minutes may sound uncomfortable to some, I actually felt like it was toning my face a little more so enjoyed the experience. Using a warm flannel to remove the mask once it had dried , I found my skin felt soft and clean but not overly squeaky clean which to me was perfect due to the fact that I can not strip my natural face oils or it leaves me with terrible irritated and dry , tight skin causing me problems for weeks later. It washed of very easily . The face mask nourished my skin and my skin looked somewhat brighter also. I did find it reduced my pores drastically and After a few more applications in the next few weeks I know that my face will look a lot more clearer . Can you see a difference ? That evening my makeup went on flawless, the best my makeup has ever been applied and lasted a lot longer than any other day. I would love to give the Avocado and oatmeal face mask a try and even some of the full size tubes as I can see me using these quite a lot after this experience. Below are some of my instagram images I took that evening. Have you gave these a try yet, will you, let me know your thoughts .

I love masks - although never tried a Freemans one, the before and after shots do show a good difference!

I haven't tried this brand, but it sounds lovely. You can also make a very easy chocolate mask yourself by mixing cocoa powder, honey, oats and Greek-style yogurt, easy and tasty, and works well too. :)
