On Monday , my husband and I celebrated out 2nd Wedding Anniversary so he decided to take me to the Metrocentre in Gateshead and let me go treat myself.

Stearing away from the usual MAC and Urban Decay stalls ,  I thought it best to treat myself to some new clothes.

If you had seen my tweet a couple of weeks ago, you may have noticed I was a little distraught after realising my son had thrown my £170 Ash wedge trainers in the bin .
Absolutely gutted to say the least as they were the most comfiest shoes and only shoes I may add that were comfortable for all occasions.

I am a nightmare for buying shoes.
I am a size 3, which unless you visit the children's section and want flowered flashy heels can be a pain to buy.

Height is a massive issue for me . I simply have nor the leg or back strength to wear high heels no more and even a small heel can sometimes cause me terrible pain so I usually go for a wedge or a flat .

On having a good rummage around the hundreds of shops , I eventually found only one pair of shoes that I was happy with and fell in love with them . For only £18 they were also a bargain compared to the Ash shoes I had previously owned (still upset about those ).

The idea I had in my mind of what shoe I was looking for was the chunky heel , buckle fastening and closed toe and these shoes were exactly that and they were from Primark.

I do not ever buy shoes from Primark for the simple fact they look cheap and very poorly made.
I have bought the odd sandal for summer but in fact when I seen these they looked very solid and heavy wearing and most amazingly they felt so comfortable I wanted to put them on straight away (which I did ).

Now the shoes were sorted I thought I would need a little outfit to go with it. I was mainly looking for something warm yet girls and so when I saw this knitted dress in black (also available in teal and grey) , I picked one up.
The knitted dress had a white shirt collar stitched into the neck of the dress and I loved how it gave a dressed up look.
I have been surprised by my husband that he is to take me on a romantic weekend away .
He has booked a 5 star hotel and also tickets have been bought to go and see a comdey show for the evening which I am very excited about.
Knowing  we will be walking late at night to and from the event , I wanted something to wear that was comfortable and also warm .
The dress was only £12 and so for a bargain buy I also bought the grey one too.

It is so comfortable , I have worn my grey dress this week already and  I know this is going to look fabulous on our night out along with the shoes and some black tights.

I do not wear much jewellery except for my wedding and engagement ring but my husband bought me a lovely locket which I had picked whilst out shopping on the previous Friday .
Of course this will be worn along with the outfit .

I did buy a couple of other things for the weekend, lingerie and nightwear but unfortunately they are for my husbands eyes only , sorry .

I decided to pop into Boux Avenue to look for some nice new Bras and knickers.

Surprisingly the lady who came to help me decided to measure me and I nearly dropped to the floor when she told me that I was not a cup size D but now in fact an F .
Never the less I was not unhappy about the matter  and in fact it gave me an excuse to buy some new lovely , properly fitted bras.

A little lighter in the pocket but grabbing a few great bargains we then decided to head of home  ready to pick kids up from school but I was so pleased with the fabulous shoes and dress , I simplt had to share it with you .

This outfit is going to look lovely with a curly blonde lock style , almost adorable .
