It really is no secret that I am a stationery fan and for the past couple of years I have turned my love into a daily desire in the respect that I love to collect new multiple notebooks and planners each year. I am always on the look out for interesting and unique notebooks at affordable prices and this Season my newbie is the TABI . My planners are my main love , I have five at one time at least being used to its full potential and take great pride in keeping it decorated and neat and as new but when it comes to notes and all of those other interesting and important things , I simply need to have my notebooks near for fast and easy access especially when it comes to work or events so I always have one by my side along side my Planner, in my eyes notebooks are for all of those quick jot downs, those scribbles and doodles of important notes that you need to keep in one place until it can be transferred to a planner or diary at a later date if needed. Mostly my notebooks are for taking quick bits of information over the phone of recording dates and times , costs and names of an important event that may need to be organised at a later date and for me , the bigger the better. Over the years I have found that notebooks tend to be the same , usually they come in various size and colours but the insides are always the same unless they have a pretty watermark or pattern to show its branding or theme . I often find notebooks are lined paper but I have come across a small handful that are dot grid and even plain inside but rarely do I see anything like this , in fact this is the first and I love the concept . TABI Notebooks come in two sizes of A4 and A5 and both have high quality paper of 100 gsm . A5 - £16.58 A4 - £19.90 The pages are covered by a high quality , soft touch , flexible and hard wearing polyurethane which is the perfect protection for your paper and it even protected my pages from a small spilled drink that was accidentally dropped over my desk . All of the pages are held together by a wired binder but the most unique and exciting part is whats inside. As soon as you open the notebook , you will be greeted by a front sheet , an introduction from TABI and a place to add a phone number in case it is lost for reuniting. Both my husband and I have given these a try for two different reasons and needs all together , one for inside work at home mum for every day things and one for taking to work out and about for the father who had just started his new job and we both had different experiences which I will explain a little further down . Can you see why the TABI is so different? Every single page has its very own index tab and every one can be seen from the first page of the book making it easy to navigate through your notes more efficiently . I absolutely love that this notebook has so many tabs , It inspires me to be more creative and useful , encouraging me to use my notebook for more than just one subject at a time . For me , my ideal size is the handy A5 which I always seem to reach to with planners and notebooks, easy for the handbag and easy for the smaller hands and busier desks. I found that it was a great edition to my desk and I found it useful for so many different things . Each tab created its own area of interest in my book and I ended up using up more and more tabs, the more I used it, the more I felt I could easily find all of my notes making me use different areas of the book which is rare for even me . Usually in the average notebook , I work from the beginning to the end and when I do miss a page it is because the paper is thin and bleeding from the writing on one side of the paper is visible so half of the book does not get used , making more waste and meaning I need to use more of them . In this case, the TABI was a really great idea. It meant even if I did miss a page , I could see where my book was blank and free to use and the paper was of good quality so bleeding was not visible . I have had the book for some time now and it is still in neat and pristine condition, the pages are still solid in their binder and cover and I am thoroughly enjoying my notebook . My husband however had a totally different experience while travelling with his notebook . He has recently just started his new job which entails travelling on the road daily . He was requested at the start of the training that he would ave to take a notebook in with him to take note of all of the routes he would be doing , it was a mass area of the North East map that he had to learn in a very short time and he needed a little more space than my A5 notebook so I offered him the bigger notebook of A4. On all the covers that embedded branding looks classy and clean , it is very much a posh notebook in my opinion and perfect for making an impression with clients in meetings or even for those who like to take pride in their stationery. He carried the book in his holdall for a whole week until he came to me with his problem . Unfortunately the A4 seemed to unsteady in the cover for some reason and unwind from it leaving all of the pages loose . I saw no problem with the A5 and due to the fact it was not been thrown all over in the bag as it was in a designated slot enabling it to be less mobile, I could only presume it was due to the excess space available for the papers to be able to move around inside the cover . By the end of the week it looked like the cover was a sleeve of a folder and my husband had placed a pile of papers inside , the cover was not torn which was a good thing , proving that although unraveling itself in its travels , it was still high quality and able to e replaced with a little care again later to its partnered TABI pages. I think if more pages were added to the notebooks this would more than likely ensure more stability and prevention of this happening again . We both had different experience but I believe we both feel it is a high quality product that would do well in sales aimed at those who love luxury and sophistication . I love my TABI, what would you use yours for? Let me know and why not take a look yourself and pop over to TABI to try for yourself. *We were not paid for this review , all opinions are honest and based on our own experiences and thoughts.

I too am a big stationery fan. What different experiences you and your husband has although it does show the high quality of them that the cover did not tear.

I invented TABi and really loved your review! But I was also devastated to hear your husband received a freak copy. The factory have been well and truly informed! TABi is probably the world's most complicated item ever designed to print and compile, which is why we try to be extra careful with quality control. Clearly we need to try harder. I trust your husband is now happy with the replacement we sent.
