Ok so we all know how important it is to own a good hairdryer, especially when you have long thick hair and hate the tedious hair routine of washing and styling it . For me my usual routine is to wash my hair and then spend half an hour drying it . Not only does it take up so much time but it also gives me arm ache holding it for that length of time above my head , it is so tiring and in fact I hate the thought of having to do it especially when I have to do this at least 3 times a week. Last month I received the new Ego Evolve hairdryer in the post and was so excited to get it open and give it a try that I immediately ran to the bathroom , washed my hair and pulled it form the box. I thought I would share with you my thoughts,,,,,,,,,,, First of the Ego Evolve is quite pricey if you are not used to paying a large amount of money for a hairdryer and is priced at £115 on HQHair.com . Here is what they have to say about the Ego Evolve- This more advanced version of ego professional's famous ALTER ego hairdryer features all of the original's best bits but now sports a range of settings. ego professional Ego EVOLVE Hairdryer allows you to choose from over 144 combinations dependant on your desired style, with 12 adjustable settings to change the speed, heat, coolshot and conditioning to help you achieve any style you like from a voluminous blow dry to shiny soft waves. All ego professional styling tools feature their favourited HW2 Technology which contains a naturally occurring mineral-laden earth Hwango and Tourmaline from the Red Pine Forest in Korea. Excess water is evaporated by negative ions reducing your drying time whilst giving hair a healthy shine with every use. Features:

My thoughts on the hairdryer- Price- As I previously said, the Ego Evolve is a little on the pricey side, but if you are looking for a hairdryer that does everything including, drying, conditioning and styling then this is most certainly for you. The Hairdryer is beautifully presented from packaging to the product itself and for me that is important as well as doing what it actually says it does. The fact that this hairdryer takes me only 5 minutes to dry my hair from soaking wet to dry in a short time is an amazingly 25 minutes less than the average hairdryer I have previously been using . It is a saver not only in my electricity bill but also on my aching arms . Being a mum I need all the time saved possible and this is why I would pay this price for the Ego Evolve. Packaging- Now if you are like myself, then you will keep your products in their original packaging for as long as possible, meaning I like to keep my things tidy and looking neat. I hate the fact that in my previous years of owning corded products, the wires are unresponsibly wrapped around the handles and put on the side . Not only is this messy looking but also ruins the longevity of the product causing the wires to loosen from the product and break . I love nothing more than a solid box to store them in and the beautiful box supplied with this hair dryer is stunning. On my first impressions, I opened the box to see a very luxurious Plum purple embedded box. It had a lovely flip top lid which had a magnet close top . If you know me well, you will already know my love for purples and so this made me smile even more. The Ego Evolve- On opening the beautiful box , I noticed the the hairdryer in all its glory staring at me. It certainly looked very professional and I loved the contrast of blended red/plum ombre effect from the nozzle to the black hairdryer itself. The feeling of the Ego Evolve is almost velvety, it has a gorgeous feel for holding and for me I struggle with the heavy hair dryers yet I find this light on the wrists and easy to handle. The lightweight hairdryer has a fantastic set of settings that can easily be changed whilst holding it with only one hand. The LCD screen is visible and bright and you can see the display clearly. It shows the outgoing temperature, five speed and heat settings and a tourmaline conditioning shot which is perfect for those who have thick or even fine frizzy hair like myself. The Ego Evolve is perfect for all hair types fine and thick and I have used it on my thick hair and also my children's baby soft fine hair. The thing I love about this hairdryer is that even if I have been using it on its highest heat, I can instantly place it safely back in its box as the nozzle does not get hot to touch so I do not have to fear leaving it on the side where little hands can be burned from it. I have fell in love with the look and the effect this hairdryer has on my hair and am so pleased it is now in my reach. The fact that it has shortened my drying time but also gives that amazing healthy looking shine to my hair without adding products is amazing and I feel confident this is going to be used regular with no worries of breakage any time soon. You do receive the ceramic infused diffuser but I simply do not use them for the look I wear although I have tried it for the purpose of this review and as you may understand, I have only a slight wave in my hair but it is straight so does give me volume . This would be perfect for using with those who have lovely curly hair . My conclusion-
There is nothing I can say bad about this product what so ever. I love the packaging, style, adjustability, speed, professional feel and the fantastic tourmaline feature. I do think the average person would begrudge paying £115 but I would definitely recommend it to everyone, this hair dryer most certainly does give you that Alter Ego. Have you tried the Ego Evolve? Let me know what you think.
