On my weekend away in Newcastle , I got to try a new brand that I had neither heard of or tried previously-
Gilchrist & Soames !
Who are Gilchrist & Soames?
Gilchrist & Soames have been offering spa, bath and body products for over thirty years and have been found in the most prestigious hotels, spas, and resorts throughout the world.
I came across the range in The Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle alongside my stay last weekend and have to say I was very impressed with the luxurious look . Not only that , but Gilchrist & Soames is based in Indianapolis, Indiana and Peterborough, England. The company is wholly-owned by Swander Pace Capital, San Francisco.
Gilchrist & Soames are proud in safeguarding themselves in using nature friendly ingredients in their philosophy from measuring and reducing their carbon footprint to studying their ingredients, impact on soil and water to creating more recyclable and less wasteful packaging.
I love how they say that they vow to talk the talk and walk gently.
This brand most certainly prides themselves in offering the highest quality products, an emphasis their love for their nature friendly products.

So lets take a look at what I have to share with you today-
London Jet Set Travel Pack
My thoughts on the products-
Ok so I thought I would share with you a small review on these products .
Ok so I love nothing more than a London Based brand, this shampoo has a fantastic lather and expensive feel to it but the smell is not so .
My hair is left feeling nourished and not left feeling dry . For being a small bottle it certainly was a generous size and I got two uses out of it with my very thick course hair .
The conditioner feels a lot more luxurious than the shampoo in my opinion.
The scent is slightly more subtle and to my liking, it feels more manageable after use.
I did find that I had to use more of the product than I would usually use with other conditioners but the result left me with hair feeling soft and conditioned.
The body lotion is something I am loving to use, it has a very light feel to it and soaks well into the skin. My skin is very thirsty and soaks it up immediately .
I love how soft my skin feels afterwards , almost like silk and there is no greasy or oily feel to it afterwards.
The shower gel is fabulous.
I usually go for a shower gel that is citrus in aroma but I love the clean, fresh and soft scent that comes from this shower gel.
It lathers up very well and my skin is left feeling clean and nourished after use.
I have to be honest , I am definitely a fan of little mini soaps. This soap is certainly very adorable in size but the amazing lather that you get from it is something I was not expecting . It smells very clean and my skin is not left dry like I would normally have with soaps, I actually feel moisturised also .
First of all , the fact that this is a travel kit is one of the reasons I have not yet tried them before , mainly for the fact , I do not or rarely travel .
This set was left complimentary by the hotel and I am pleased to have been able to try it.
The shampoo and conditioner is something I am not overly excited about but I think that finer hair would benefit more from this duo as my thick hair was a little more untouched by it compared to when I tried it on my younger children's fine hair.
I love the lotion although a little thin for me , but it is perfect for my elbows and knee areas where I tend to get the dry patches sometimes .
The shower gel was also a star for me as well as the soap , left me feeling very clean and fresh and for me these were the highlight of the set which I would recommend buying in full sizes.
The price is affordable and ideal especially for those who do travel and are in need of an essential set like this .
I would buy this if I were to go away and would also be interested in trying a larger size in the spa sea collection.
Have you tried this brand before, what do you think?
