  5. Too much colouring or treatment.


Tips
Here are helpful tips to get you started towards naturally beautiful hair.

  1. Reduce the environmental stress that is put onto your hair by protecting it from wind and sun by using a cap or umbrella when going out.
  2. Reduce or elliminate hair care procedures such as straightening  or blow drying.
  3. Allow your hair to naturally dry after washing.


Natural Treatments.
  1. Nettles are an effective tonic and detox treatment to relieve damaged hair. Make a tea out of dried nettles leaves or if you dont fancy picking them yourself you can buy them from health stores. Not only can you drink them but you can use it rinse your hair with.
  2. Chamomile tea is also an effective hair conditioner. If you want to achieve extra shine, simple add a teaspoon of lemon juice to a litre of tea.
  3. To restore moisture to dry hair you can use infusions from common spices such as sage and parsley.
  4. You can make a rinse out of lemon balm, lavender, rosemary or mint if you have greasy or oily hair , these will help reduce sebum and calm your scalp.

So why use herbal remedies?
Hair care products sometimes claim to be whats best for your hair but infact if you look closer to the labels and study their ingredients , you will find 
  1. Propylene glycol
  2. Cetearyl alcohol
  3. Distearate
  4. Isopropyl alcohol
  5. Methylparaben or prophylparaben


These ingredients are toxins that can be harmful to your health , especially when used excessively.

Herbal hair products use natural herbal ingredients to promote growth and health of hair.

Thank you for the herbal tips... I will be using these. I hardly ever use heat on my hair... I blow dry my hair maybe twice a month, I used to really neglect my hair but since I was pregnant I cut out loads of heat and stopped using styling products.
