Good day everyone,,,,,,,,,,

Today I want to share with you a lovely hair product which I have been using for the past week ..........

Kerastase ELIXIR ULTIME Sublime Cleansing Oil-Enriched Shampoo!

Over the winter my hair seems to lack my natural blonde streaks and I was looking fro something that would bring back the shine and colour back into my hair as it is in the summer .
This is something I usually tend to with a chamomile shampoo but no longer does that seem to be working as my hair seems to be getting darker with age.

Kerastase was something I had heard of and thought I would give it a go .

As some of you may already know , my hair can be some what of a pain and there is only a few shampoos that actually give me great results unless I use half a bottle to even touch the amount of hair I actually have .

Cleaning my hair can take forever and I find it a challenge almost every time I have to do it .

So far the only shampoo Ii have found that has made my hair feel amazing to the point I felt pampered was the Neal and Wolf Ritual daily cleansing shampoo which since using has left my hair feel the best it has ever felt and well the smell of course made me weak at the knees.

I like a shampoo that makes my hair feel soft and clean with just a shampoo and not have to continue with conditioners and sprays and such afterwards and Neal and Wolf just did that so when I tried this I was pleasantly surprised.

Packaging -

I do not know if it was just me but seeing the gold bottle made me somehow think that the product would be golden oil colour too but it was not , (just thought I would add that as I honestly thought it would be which by the way makes no change to the product what so ever lol).
I love the pear shaped bottle and its twisty top lid, the collection does look fantastic in my bathroom.
Gold never goes out of style for me .

Price-

Ok , so some may be used to paying around the £2 - £6 mark for a shampoo but this is spectacular in regards to the ingredients and what it actually does.
I do not mind paying a high price , although I do wish that the bottles were larger because I do use three times more than the average person to cleanse and cover my hair in shampoo and it never lasts me very long at all.

Scent -

I was not expecting any scent really from this ,I was surprised that it actually smells quite musky , quite manly to me , but it smells very clean and fresh .

My conclusion-

Ok so the price is a little high for the small bottle, the scent is not so girly fantastic for the price but the pretty gold packaging is ok, so how did I actually find the product itself and what effect did it have on my hair ?

Well , for a start I was expecting an oily texture and it did but without the greasy feel , it simply felt oily in the respect it was silky soft with a slight sticky feel like a shampoo should have.

I like to have a lot of lather when I shampoo and this does just that , it lathers up very well which ensures me that I have reached all areas .
The other good thing I love about this product is that I do not need so much , just one lather and I do no need to top it up for a second round unlike I would with the average shampoo.

I think because of all the oils mentioned, I was worried it would wear my hair down and make it look greasy but in fact it left my hair feeling soft and amazingly soft . My hair felt so light for a change.

I am trying the Morocco oil this week so I will keep you informed on that in the next week or so as I know there are people who prefer one to the other , for me it is all about cleanse, condition and manage  for my thick , long, course hair  and this worked for me .

Have you tried this , what do you think?

Let me know ....
