L'Oreal hair care products have always been a part of my life , infact I remember  my mum, aunts and nans using it many years before me.

Just before christmas , I got three of their Playball Collection

  • Deviation Paste - £10
  • Curl Candy - £10
  • Supersize Mousse - £10

I absolutly love the bright vibrancy packaging of the tubes and pots .
Bursts of bright green, yellow, blue, pink and orange, they look soo fun and playfull.

Deviation paste - £10
Hold - 4 - Strong

Deconstructing definition paste.

How to use -
This is a small pot , but it goes along way.
You only need a small amount so warming the paste in your hands then spreading it evenly will be enough. Use the tip of your fingers to shape, mould and define your hair as desired.

This is suited best for short hair at 10cm or shorter .

The deviation paste has a lovely scent of Almonds and comes in 100ml .
I keep using the tub as a stress ball because of the tub being soo squidgy, its soo handy for taking anywhere , perfect travelling size.

Curl Candy - £10
Hold -3 Medium

Curl defining Gel.

Anti - frizz fluid to define your curls.

How to use -
Apply a small amount on your hands and work through your hair untill it is evenly applied. Sculpt your curls and scrunch your hair using your hands to find the natural curls you may not be able to see.

Use only a small amount and add as you work through section by section , add more when needed till your happy with the style.

It must get its name from the scent as Curl Candy smells delightfully like cherry candy.

It comes in 150ml tubes .
I love the bullet style and bright pink labelling.
I use this to keep my frizz at bay , but not just for curls . I like to use this while I straighten my hair too.

Supersize Mousse - £10
Hold - 5 - XX Strong

Expansive mousse, XXL Volume.

Suitable for both make and female and all hair types.

How to use -
Let the mousse expand in the palm of your hand. (We all know even at the age of 30 years old its fascinating and fun to watch).
Apply through damp hair then dry using a dryer and style as described. To add extra volume you need to blast - dry into the roots.

As you may have already guessed by the colour of the fabulous green tube, this scent is an addictive apple , mmm, yummy.

Supersize mousse comes in 150ml.

I am not actually a fan of mousse , but since trying this I have totally changed my mind. This mousse is just extraudinary, it almost feels like play putty, but in the form of mousse and it works fantastically .

I actually used the whole tin with in a week but Ii would definalty purchase again because I was soo impressed with the results.

My hair in curls a very rare sight. My hair is naturally wavey and I normally wear it straight. I used Supersize mousse to achieve this look, what do you think?
As I had said in a previous post,I had no straighteners from October till christmas so there was no alternative but to try a new look.
I have natural wavey hair and so I thought I would curl it for the first time with help form the L'Oreal Professional Playball Collection and of course the Supersize mousse was my best option.

Years ago when I was a teenager I used to have to use a full tin of hairspray and as I grew older I have come to realise I am not a fan no longer after it damaged and dried my hair out . This mousse was amazing, it left my hair looking great and felt amazing, not hardened by the mousse like hairspray used to. I also smelt of apples all day which was delightful. I found my husband constantly sniffing at my hair .

I have to say this is my most loved product of the Playball collection and would definatly reccomend it .

Have you tried any of them or will you be in the future?,  I know I will be looking for others  at the L'Oreal Proffessional website.

I think this range looks good, I like the packaging, but I find L'Oreal hair products to be just overpriced and not worth it. Can usually find good dupes in Bargain Shops.
