I have never had trouble with achieving long , thick and full volume hair but this shampoo looked very interesting considering most shampoos I have tried that promise full volume and boost usually tend to make my hair just fuzzy . Using a shampoo that does not have sulphates to me is something I am not used to. I love a lather and although it is the sulphate that usually gives of the lather in a shampoo , I was expecting to have a very dry hair care experience. Sulphates have been shown to be bad for your hair though, it dries out your hair and making your hair look dull and if you have sensitive scalp then steering clear from them is a must . Having sulphates are a bad thing for some but for me , my hair works fine with them , especially as it gives me that desirable lathering bubble effect I absolutely enjoy . Ingredients- Aqua (Water/Eau), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Sodium cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Amyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Methylparaben, Glycerin, Panthenol, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Hydroxypropyln Methylcellulose, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Phytantriol, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract My thoughts on this product - Price- The price is most definitely affordable for all, it is actually surprising at how low cost this shampoo is considering the size of the bottle and the ingredients inside . It is cheaper than my usual shampoo and so I would buy this if I was on a smaller budget . Packaging- Simple plastic bottle with a press lifting lid to enable you to squeeze out the product. The deep red colour looks fabulous against the black lid but the bottle is covered from top to bottom in descriptions and contents and a little too much reading for me. Scent- I have to admit , since using the Neal & Wolf range , nothing has since ever come close, I simply have fell in love with the aroma that is given from it and although this is nothing like it I love it also. It has a lovely sweet citrus salon aroma and the ,lemongrass slightly comes through without giving it an overwhelming lift. Lather- Like I previously said before, For me when I wash my hair I love nothing but a brilliant lather, I expect to use a tiny amount on my long and thick hair that lathers lots and saves me using too much product therefore saving me on the pennies at the same time. This shampoo does not lather and therefore made me think I needed more on my hair than I actually used for the first week . I hate waste but I did not feel I could benefit using this shampoo without feeling it was covering every strand , not so fabulous in the lather but on the good side it does not have that sulphate which gives the lather , therefore it is better for my hair so I can excuse it knowing my hair is in better care and condition than before. My conlusion-
I am quite surprised with this shampoo, Although I do not like the fact there is no lather in this shampoo which I love , it had an amazing price range and the aroma is gorgeous . I can smell it on my hair three days later still which to me is fantastic especially as a lot of shampoos don't leave that fresh and clean scent for so long on my very thick hair. I also think that although my hair already carries volume it lacks in bounce and shine but this certainly helped with making it look bouncy and healthy . A little shine on my hair more than I would usually have but the bounce is amazing . It almost feels like I should be on one of those adverts doing the 'she's worth it'' shots , flicking my hair and strutting down the catwalk. I would definitely use this shampoo again , it has opened my eyes a little to the non sulphate shampoo line a lot more now. Have you tried this before, will you? Let me know .
