So I have a fabulous new range of hair products which I have to admit I am loving so much I don't know why I have not had them sooner. Who are Silk Of Morocco? Silk of Morocco is an Australian brand that offer Hair Care, Skin Care and Pure Mineral Cosmetics that include natural products infused with Cold Pressed Certified Organic Argan Oil as their KEY ingredient. Silk of Morocco have now expanded their services to many countries , 14 in fact including UK, Japan , Germany and Dubai. Silk Of Morroco say that their products are safe to use after Keratin straightening due to the fact they are salt free and contain no sodium chloride.
So for me this is most definitely something I am in need of as I am always straightening or curling my hair and I am in dyer need of protecting my hair. My hair is ridiculously thick and I fear I may cause damage to it regular . I suppose I just never know for sure if the thermal protections I have recently used are actually working. The amazingly light formula is instantly absorbed by the hair with, leaving the hair beautifully hydrated, soft and shiny. Having the name Silk of OIL , you would expect to have a greasy residue left over but in fact the formula is so light that there is no greasy or oily feel left on your hair. Silk Oil of Morocco thermal treatment has the ability to not only protect the hair from high heats but also hydrates and protects the hair from chemical and environmental damage . Who can use it? Medium to thick hair. This product is said to be used on medium to thick hair which for me is perfect as my hair is thick , like really thick . I am not sure why it says only medium to thick but I have seen this used on fine hair and it worked fantastically also , maybe you may be able to enlighten me . How to use - Hold the bottle around 20 centimetres away from the head and spray evenly over dry hair ensuring you give the ends of your hair that much needed attention. Use your heated appliance for styling as you normally would and finish the look by giving the hair a quick spritz to give it a finish shine look. My conclusion- Price - £19.95 Ok this is a little too much for my liking I have to admit but considering the results of using the product , I would gladly grab another bottle . Packaging- So the bottle is a typical plastic spray bottle and although the brown colour of the bottle does not seem so attractive , I actually love looking at the collection together with the different colour trees on each different range . The spray is fantastic and in fact I wish other brands used this type of spray as the consistency of it is very fine and sprays my hair evenly without wasting too much product. The spray nozzle is also very easy to use and does not spin around when hands are greasy or wet like others mostly do. Scent- To be honest this was the first thing I fell in love about with this product. The amazing scent of passion fruit is amazing and it lasted in my hair through out the full day . What I thought of the product overall- This is definitely a premium hair care product, its certified cold pressed organic Argan oil. I love that they get the Argon from south western Morocco where it grows naturally which means this is excellent quality Argon oil and you get 13% of the active ingredient in the product which is a high amount . Usually I have had to get two separate products - one for thermal protection then the other for shine, I love that this combines them both together so it means less clutter and more savings. Usually sprays like this weigh my hair down but this does not , it leaves a beautiful shine and the spritz is so light I barely feel it . My hair over the years has become very dull and the natural shine has since disappeared , this product has restored that shine to the best it has ever been and I love how my hair looks even just after one use. I use my hair straighteners with an astonishing heat of 210 degrees heat and I know without this product my hair would simply frazzle . This is most definitely the new love heat protection spray I carry in my hair range now. Not only does it leave my hair protected, nourished and looking beautiful but it also restores any previous damages making my hair feel , smell and look fantastic .
