So after you made all those resolutions about getting fit and eating healthy, How is it all going? I have no doubt in my mind that a small minority of you are trying really hard and I would like to say welldone and keep it up, your doing an amazing job, but there are some of you that simply made that resolution and two days later (if you even got that far), just gave up. Over the years , I myself have made numerous resolutions and every year it was the same ones .
The simply fact of the matter is , we just don't follow it through and give up. Sometimes we don't even try and start, we just sit and think about doing it and ever actually get on with it. How many times have you sat there and thought if only? Well that is all we ever do. So why not get up and get something done and turn your life around, Whats your excuse this time?
While constantly thinking about doing something but never doing it ,we all think of the hurdles we may have to cross to acheive our goal and they look scary so we start to think about fulfilling our resolutions even less. You can sit there saying to yourself that you may have fit in that dress that you wanted to wear for the family occasion if you only gave it ago, you may feel more alive and not have that fatigue feeling each day if you tried to eat a little bit more healthy or you could have even joined in that once in a lifetime experience trip that included amazing day trips like climbing the peak of a mountain or skydiving with your friends, but you can't because all you done is sat there and thought about getting more healthy and not actually doing anything about it. There can not be a change without dicipline and although we hate been told what to do and how to do it, you have to agree with yourself that if it is going to be better for your health , then you need to take that step. Get started, stop making excuses because you know it is possible and you know it is beneficial to you and your body and mind. Make a list of one thing you could do each week , here are a couple of examples to get you started .
So whats your excuse now ?
Thats right you have not got one so get started and beat those resolutions. Goodluck all and keep me updated on how your doing . Best of luck .

What a great post, I always set myself goals that are too high, this year I have lowered my goals and aim to achieve just a small amount of exercise and a change in my diet and try and increase each month. Thanks for the great advice. I do not make resolutions in the new year, never had, I hate failing at things, I have lost weight and started spur of the moment, was successful too, not keen on exercise, but am pretty fit. Like your ideas about trying new foods, I had spinach in a smoothie today and it was nicer than I imagined.

My resolutions were quite different! I only had three, and I think I'm managing to do two of them pretty well. My last one... it's about being more positive and I really think that's the hardest for me and I was just about to give up on it before this. But how can you be more positive? Pessimism is just my way of things. I wondered if you could do a post about it? I would definitely read!

That has to be the most fabulous idea I have heard of, What a lovely thought and resolution , we all worry soo much these days about the smalest and less important things , being possitive can make all the difference when you dont feel theres anything to be possitive about but of course there is always something to make your day more possitive x
