Ok so it is not that often that I shy away from my MAC lipsticks these days, but with the weather being so lush , I merely jut want a lip gloss to add to my lips, especially as I am only wearing it in the garden whilst water fighting with the kids .

Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss is my much loved favourite at the moment.

Cost - £14.50
Can be bought from Benefit online

There are six gorgeous shades in the collection

  • Lollipop - Hot pink
  • Kiss you  - clear fushcia
  • Icebreaker - clear
  • Fauxmance - soft berry
  • A-Lister - bubblegum pink
  • Poutragious - bright pink-coral

For me it is all about pink when it comes to a gloss this time of year although I would like to get my hands on the Poutragious.

So I want to share with you this gorgeous shade I have

Lollipop - The hot pink gloss is most definitely a shade I would normally pick up but what makes this different from any other is the absolutely adorable packaging.

The gloss comes in a fabulous squeeze tube , nothing different there but the fact that these are art deco design with a cream trimming flat lid to finish them off, well that is if you do not include that adorable green decor box with the cutest little ribbon to put it in.
I just love my make up in its original packaging , boxes and all so this is perfect for someone like me.
I do remember a day when I used to throw them all away and wished I had not.

The formula of the lipgloss has a very silky texture with no tackiness or sticky feeling to it.
It feels like a balm but looks like a gloss, perfect.

I love that this gloss is sheer and considering many lip glosses look clear on my lips I love that these actually hold a tint of colour .

The hint of colour is faint but it is just enough for me and I like it.
The more you add the more the colour builds up but you know what too much lip gloss is like lol, it is just not worth it , trying to get your hair of your lip looking like you have just come out of a botox treatment is not the look I like .

I am going to be honest as I do not honestly think anyone can say a lip gloss lasts for hours on end at all unless they sit with not a movement or drink or food pass their lips for hours on end.

It is a typical lip gloss for me , It lasts as long as I would expect a gloss to last , not going to lie, it transfers straight to my cup or glass soon as I take a sip of a drink and have to reapply every time I do so lol.

The nib of the lip gloss is the usual style, a slanted end with quite a large hole for the gloss to be squeezed through.
I would prefer a smaller end and hole though as it does tend to come out to fast and can get a little messy if your heavy handed like me.

I have to say these are perfect for summer, the adorable lip glosses come in other summer shades and are perfect for carrying about with you everywhere.

I love a lip gloss that is sheer with a fabulous tint of colour that does not hold glitter , what do you think, have you picked them up or will you ?

I love benefit stuff, yes it's a bit more expensive than some of its counterparts but it's always quality stuff. Plus, their shades just automatically suit me so that's a plus!
