Being a bargain hunting mum , I usually find myself picking up a couple of bargains by heading into the £Poundshop in the Peterlee Store.

I do not get there often but when I do I always make sure to have a good rummage around in the Makeup section. Usually I will not find anything and just pick up an eyeshadow or nail polish that I have not tried because I have three little girls who love to use them other than borrowing mine all the time.

Last month I got lucky when I found these three little cute pots of delight . In all other times I have gone and found an eyeshadow in the shop , there are only 1 or 2 options of more than likely a colour I dislike or a shade they know has not sold well on the line so I was soo pleased I found three colours of shadow in the same line and all colours I would find myself useing.

Cream eyeshadows are something I have not found myself enjoying as even with a good primer on my lids before applying , it seems to look creased and wet looking.

The casing is simple and I like the fact they use a different colour lid to show the colour inside as it makes them easier when stacking to see my options.

The white creamy shade on the right is very thick compared to the others and I have found this to be the perfect highlighter for under my eyebrow as shown above in the picture. It lifts and neatens my brow perfectly.

I can not seem to enjoy the silver in the middle as I would have liked though. It it quick sparkly  (which I love) but it does not leave a doninant colour and spreads out awkwardly, so this has been good for just a small tiny dab on the centre of the lid to bring a little shimmer , I do not like this as a full shadow.

I have been using the bronze on the left on the shadow / crease line for my eyes . It is a lovely colour and I love it for being a natural tone that can be used daily.

I was worried that the shadows may be too creamy like the others I had previously used but infact they went on great. The silver and bronze went on lovely and dries almost instantly into a powder but the white/creamy shade was used with a brush for under my brow line and although the more dominant shade once applied it was the one that took a little longer to dry . This does not bother me but if you are looking for something quick this one takes its time.

I do love the bronze and white shadows , they all have a lovely shimmer to them , apply well, look fantastic on,but the silver is the most definately less used one. For only £1 each though who can grumble?

Have you seen these or bought them ?

I'm not hugely into makeup, but since shaving my head, I am paying more attention to it, particularly to make the most of my eyes. I might just pop into our local Poundshop and see if I can grab a bargain. I think the bronze will suit my colouring.
