 As Valentines day is soon upon us, we all know how much that red lipstick is a much need. I am not much a fan of red lipsticks and I find they do not suit me due to me being soo fare skinned so usually stay well clear, however it does not stop me from enjoying those gorgeous colours and treating myself to that one hot lips product. Over xmas I got three different Elizabeth Arden Lipsticks and I recently reviewed the Starlight, a beautiful nude . I most definately had to have this gorgeous red too , the other was sent to someone in a xmas box.  First of all its very rare I buy Elizabeth Arden , I find its luxurious and wasted on a mother of 7 who never has the time to socialise or go out and dress up with the gorgeous products but this was actually bought for another lady in a swap (I wont even go there describing what happened but lets say I had my swap box finally returned to me with this fabulous lipstick inside ).  Bold, red lipsticks always make me think of strong woman who are independent , I wish I could wear it more but I simply dare not. Valentines is coming and I know some of you may be looking for that perfect shade so I thought I would share with you this stunning shade.  I have had a lovely little try in the secret of my own home still not daring to bare my boldness in the daylight or our quiet little village and I have to say it is a lovely colour. The staying power of Elizabeth Arden has always been known for its exceptional pigmented and long lasting staying power so there is no worry about that lipstick needing to be topped up half way through your date.
However lipstick on your collar this valentines would not be easily missed so you may need to coat it in a lipcoat . Hhas anyone else tried this shade or know any other gorgeous red lipsticks they think would be perfect for Valentines day? you are most definately correct Dita von teese wears hers stunningly. I think you need to be very brave to wear it and I dont think I have the confidence to as of yet. Mme too, Elizabeth Arden is a perfect lipstick but I think I wil wear the nude more often , definately this for valentines night though x Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
