Sat bored on a monday night , I came across a twitter party for beauty product lovers like myself. #Fuschiaparty is held on a monday night and is help by Fuschia Make-up at 10pm up untill 11pm. The last time I joined in (I missed the last one as I was celebrating my 2nd wedding anniversary), I typed in #Fuschiaparty into the search bar , chose the option of all tweets and started to chat and reply to all the people joining in the chat. It seemed very friendly and I got to know a few other people who had the same interests as myself. At the end of the party , my name was drawn as a winner of a goody bag. I was very excited as I had not tried their products before and I was very interested to see how they would work on my skin. Last week the goody bag arrived and I received 5 small samples of their products (I have to admit when they said a huge goody bag I was expecting at least full sizes so was a little disappointed) but never the less it was still free and I was happy to give them a try ). I wanted to show you 2 of the products which I loved . ''The Eye dust'' I received to of the eye dusts in shades Turquise and Bliss. The Fuschia eye dusts can be bought from Fuschia.ie Eye dust costs - £10.95 full size and is available in 15 shades . Mine are only samples so the packaging is a little different. Fuschia make-up eye dust is a loose pigment and if you love pigments you are going to love these. For me pigments are fantastic for using for bold shadow looks, a subtle shimmer , eyeliners or even body art if your feeling experimental or creative. I simple like using pigments (especially golds and silvers) as highlighters for the centre of my eyelid to brighten up my eye and give them a little pop of sparkle. Above is the Bliss shade which for me is my most loved eye dust from the two. I would wear this daily as I love the nude shade , just wish it was a bigger tub. Above is the Turquise shade, This is absolutely stunning and although I can not find myself wearing this bold and bright tone at the moment , I do love this lightly (very lightly) brushed over the lid to add a bit of colour to my lids , the shimmer in them both are amazing. I love an eye dust that shimmers like this . It has the most stunning effect once caught by the sun light. I tried them both with and with out primer . For me I like a subtle shade on the lid so I would use them without but I would use primer for the liner to add depth to the eye shape. Over the autumn days I am definitely loving using the bliss for a more natural liner of the eye look but I know in summer the turquise is going to make my blue eyes pop beautifully . I have seen that they have a stunning shade called violet storm which is a gorgeous plum purple and I am very much tempted to add it to my wishlist for my birthday as I can see it being the shade this season (also my favourite colour). As you can see from the picture above, the Turquise and Bliss certainly look a lot bolder with primer and the shimmer enhances , the more you add the more it sparkles .
You need to have a good hand to use these eye dusts , I use the tiniest of amounts which gives a stunning shimmer to the eyebrow bone which white gold or white sparkle would look fabulous for lifting and neatening the brow area. Have you tried This brand, will you be giving it a go ? Let me know .
