I am a lover for picking up gorgeous new shades or products for my lips and these days it is not just a lipstick nor is it just a lip gloss. Now we have lip stains and balms and hybrid lip gloss . Today I want to share with you a new love of mine amongst the many others I can not stop wearing lately. Lancome Lip Lover 313 Rose Ballet What they say about the Lancome Lip Lover - The perfect match for lips. Color shine and care all in one. Adjustable colour. Buildable Shine. Lasting Comfort. The arrow tip can also be used to perfect the corners and define the contours. Your lips’ new best friend, Lip Lover leaves lips utterly kissable. For even more boosted volume, dab a lighter shade over the centre of the lips using the applicator. So simple! Cost - £18 Where to buy - www.lancome.co.uk I do not care for what the product actually is, I merelly see a new shade or product and see stars , I am like a magpie when I see lip products, I tend to want them all . The latest to catch my fancy is Lancome Lip Lover in Rose Ballet #313, a light rosy pink nude colour with minimal shimmer. It is the perfect nude pink for my lip colour. I love how Lancome have entered the world of lip stains and brought an amazing selection of shades of lip lover. In fact there are an amazing 24 shades but I have only this one to show you today. The Lip Lover in Rose Ballet is sheer but I think it would suit almost all skin tones as it turns from a slight tint to a buildable shade . As with all lip gloss a time is given for it to supposedly last but if you are anything like me then it simply lasts an hour if you are lucky before having to top it up . When I purchase a product I love a solid packaging and that click you hear when closing the lid or top can be a relief in knowing it is tightly secured with no worry of spill or leaking which leads to wastage and this product has that fabulous click. The lid to this Lip Lover has a button which you press to release then when you close it you get that fantastic loud click . Click , click , click,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, love it! Not only do you have to press the button to release the applicator but you then need to twist slightly to fully release the applicator. The doe foot applicator is perfect for me, I get the one stroke application to cover the lips with only one swipe on the lips so no need to double it up or keep pumping the applicator into the product causing bubbling. A lipgloss for me has to have a good pigmentation and feel silky on the lips , not sticky and not overloaded making my lips look botox enhanced.
The Lip Lover gives my lips a lovely sheer look , not too in your face and this shade is wearable when ever and where ever. The Rose Ballet is not sticky and feels amazing in fact feels moisturising on my lips which is most definitely needed after this weather changing holiday. It has the feel of a lipgloss without the stickiness but also feels like a balm too which is comfoting to my lips . I do not smell a scent form the Lip Lover which for me is good as I have a bad habit of licking it off my lips so this will stay on longer than the scented ones I own for sure. I have fell in love with the Lip Lover instantly and carry it in my bag with me at all times now. Have you tried this or any of the other shades? I am tempted to try the bolder shades now .
