Ok , so you can see a theme on this makeup section of the blog cant you? Yes I know it is All Urban Decay Lately but I have to be honest with you , it seems to be my addiction and I did ask Santa for only that particular brand this year as I seemed to have had such a fantastic experience with the other three products and it is not like I get a treat like this very often , usually Birthday, Christmas and maybe the odd time in between when we have a spare few pennies . You never know though , now I have quit smoking and going to be saving the cash, this could become a weekly affair . So I have tried the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, but reading other blog posts from other beauty bloggers I realised that not only were the palettes a must have but their single pots were just as valuable . Sometimes brands make palettes where their formula is perfect but do not sell the same shades separately or the formula is slightly different and this is one of my bug bears so I always prefer to buy palettes rather than single pots although I do own the odd few favourites but surprisingly from much cheaper brands . Moondust is my next collecting venture with Urban Decay eyeshadows and for three months before Christmas I begged my husband with endless hints for one in particular. Moondust is priced at £14 Available from Debenhams Here is what they say about their product - Moondust is dazzlingly sparkly but with a super refined, incredibly sophisticated feel (and not a single speck of chunky glitter). Microfine bits of iridescent sparkle collide with intense, dreamy hues and lush, 3-D metallics—for an effect that’s out of this world. It feels like a cream but goes on like a powder to create a smooth, brilliantly reflective look. The result? Sexy, twinkling sparkle with a ton of depth and movement. (And a LOT of questions about what you’re wearing!) We recommend applying Moondust with your fingers. For extra intense colour payout, try it wet. Not only had my husband the one Moondust shadow under the tree but he had three -

Space cowboy was the one that I had been drooling over for months but never did I imagine the others to be so gorgeous too. I noticed Space cowboy on the lady at the Debenhams Urban Decay Stall when she was applying me with a new foundation I had bought and it stopped me in my tracks and I had to ask her what it was and tell her how stunning it looked on her . She had only applied it very faintly unlike the swatch below which is way to intense for my liking , I literally only need the smallest finger tip touch of it to have the stunning effect I had seen on the lady with it on . It looks stunning on and Moonspoon actually looks amazing over the top of any shade if you put the smallest dazzle of the top which Is what I have been doing. Moondust comes in 7 different shades -
So I only have 4 more to get and my next favourite option would definitely be Stargazer before then moving onto the three colours., as the purple of course (my favourite colour) looks devine and no doubt would have been a big hit over this New year Celebrations . Lets take a closer look at all 3 of the beauties I have myself. Moonspoon - This is a medium gun grey with bright silver sparkle . For me this is the shadow that works well over any of your shadows if used lightly for that stunning subtle shimmer. If you apply to the wet base then you will get an amazing array of silveness. Perfect as a liner for those nights out. Diamond Dog- This is a stunning white gold, deep brown sparkle and I absolutely adore this . The colour intensifies immensely if applied to a wet surface so if you want something subtle remember to use a small amount. The small tiny sparkles give a stunning look to the eye , brightening it up with the smallest amount but beware of fallout , sometimes if over used . The texture is so soft and cream like but goes on like a powder . Space Cowboy- The one I had me fainting with weak knees when I opened it on Christmas Morning is this little beauty. The slightly peachy toned gold shade is stunning and I for one am in total love with it. Using this has become almost a habit these past couple of days , Just a small tiny dab onto the centre of the lid and I feel like a star . Ok you all know how much I love purple so when Urban Decay Shadows come in that amazing UD Dark Cadbury Purple Box , I am totally won over especially when the Shadow tubs themselves are even prettier. Silver and solid , the tubs of eye shadow actually pop out too. If you wish to take four of your most loved shadows in one palette you can opt for buying the 'Build your own palette moonflower '' for only £14 , pop out the shadows and place them inside , of course it is also the stunning purple shade I love but for me I like to have all my shadows in view lined up to see in their gorgeous cases themselves.
Being the girl who loves sparkle these little pots of starlight truly are my dream and I look forward to adding the others to make the set but guess what, Ii have another palette to show you next , so keep an eye out before I start shopping again .
