I just could not wait to try out and show you the fun I have been having today with my Shiseido Palette. I blogged about it here yesterday saying how amazed I was with the formula and the amazing shades. In my day of boredom being sat at home waiting for the day to pass and my husband and children to come home I thought I would see how the different colours turned out on my skin. Bearing in mind I never usually wear anything other than browns and pinks I wanted to try the blues, purples, greens and that dredded red shade I always fear of using incase it looks like I have thumped in the eye. My first attempt was with shades
I have previously tried a similar look with Elf Palette last week here and I can see a drastic difference in boldness for a start. The colours together are amazing and remind me of a peacock I once seen . Using the champagne to highlight my under brow is fabulous for giving the effect it is lifting my small lid area and makes my eyes look wider (I have a feeling I will be searching for this shade as a single pot because I know it will be used plenty). I have blended the two other colours together best I could and I love the outcome. The blue is very much bolder of the two but using the purple as a shading on the edge of my eyelid deepend the colour and gave a smokey effect look which I absolute love and use daily with the nudes. Green is a colour that usually makes me look ill. I do not know why , maybe its the colour of my skin or being blonde , but usually I just do not look right wearing it. This is the reason I thought I would try this out. The green attempt:-
Supprisingly I liked the end effect. I think this green actually looks nice on me here and using the nude shade of noisette tones the brightness down. This is something I will definately be wearing in the summer. The one colour in the whole palette I was a little bit unsure about was Cassis. This is another colour that makes me look like I have been thumped in the eye or I just simply look unwell with been soo pale wearing.
The not so thumped look:-
Ok so it was not as bright as I thought it may have been on the eye and does not look soo bad but I am still not sure when I would get to wear this look . I think the red looks well with these shades but for me it just does not seem something I could find myself wearing at any time . Maybe trying to mix a little of the Cassis with the Liquorice for a seductive smokey on valentines days will be what my eyes need (I will try it and show you my result if I do). So what do you think. Which look do you like if any, any ideas on what colours to try mixing next ?

The first look is amazing, it looks so nice on you. I'm not a huge eye shadow person. I can never been bothered to do sit down and do my eyes. :(
