Rimmel Stir It Up Eyeshadow - Out of the blue

I thought I would try a new shadow I bought a while ago today. You know the one, the ones where you pick them up because they look pretty but you just do not want to use it so put it away and just imagine it is on your eyes .

I do this soo often that I have decided I must start and use my products even at least once and alternate between them through the week giving them a chance .

I thought it would be a lovely shimmery powder consistency but was surprised today when it applied as a cream.
As I dipped the brush in the pot , it smudged (oh nooooo, I screamed in my head) .
The whole reason I wanted to not use it was because of the lovely look of it and now it was ruined , so I no longer have any excuse I suppose.

I have to say though I was rather impressed. I was expecting it to be very faint and light almost an invisible green with a tint of the purple specks you see in the pot but wow it looks fabulous on.
I rarely use this colour because I find it a colour for the summer or spring and I actually love the fact it looks more colourful than expected.

I really need to realise that just because it looks a certain texture or colour in the pot it is more than likely to be something totally different , which sometimes can be dissapointing but on this occasion I am pleased with the outcome.

This is one of the products I bought along with the Calvin Klein shadows from the £Poundshop so for only £1 its a fabulous bargain buy. I just wish they had more option of colours in when I was there.

If anyone has any other shades of this please let me know as I would be interested in trying them out also.

I found it builds up colour . When I first applied it it looked a lovely shimmery pale lime silver and as I added, it built up stronger bolder colour. I paired it with an Elf baked silver shadow from the new pallette ''Seattle'' just a tiny amount on the centre of the lid which I love to add lately to all my looks, usually a silver or gold metallic.

Although its name is ''Out of the blue'', this shadow is more a green colour and is soo smoothe in texture.

Have you tried these shadows before , what do you think?

The colour certainly matches your eyes, definitely a colour I would try too.
