RD314 Deep Coral, is a warm coral with a hint of pink and is one of my much loved glosses of January . I am definately a fan of this beauty.

When I first opened the box and looked at the lip gloss applicator I honestly thought it looked a rusty red colour so I was not keen on wearing it.

I love coral and pinks so I gave it a go and wow, I was instantly impressed.
I am more a fan of gloss in summer because I find they last longer than lipsticks in the summer so I barely wear them over the cold months.

This lacquer however feels and acts like lipgloss but with the effects of a lipstick in the sense it sticks to my lips and does not leave the runny lipgloss feel.

I am wearing between two lip products at the moment ,Elf lip balm and this and they both individually have their own greatness but I think they are for seperate events for me.

For me this is the perfect lacquer to have in your bag if you need to brighten your lips and have that instant boldness of long lasting colour when out with friends where as the Elf balm is more a nourishing balm with a small tint of tone but more wearable anytime mainly for moisturising the lips and together they actually work well although not needed necessarily.

So I will wear both equally at different times.

The amazing thing about this is the fact when you apply lacquers the fear of bleeding around your lips is most definate but with the formula of Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE , there is no worry at all as it locks tight onto your lips for upto 7 hours which is fantastic .

I have this in my bag so its small enough to carry where ever you go which is also handy and the classic black packaging is nice.
The applicator is a perfect size and shape for me and picks up quite a large amount of the product. It glides onto your lips and gived that perfect even tone.

The lacquer is highly pigmented and you do not need to apply more to build the colour although it is your own choice how bold you wish to go .

I have found this also has a slight plumping effect to the look of my lips but I have no feeling of tingle or taste of menthol which usually irritates me and therefore I stay away from products that have that effect. There is no stickiness or scent and I like that because it means I have less urge to lick or wipe off.

Overall I love this lacquer and will definately be looking into buying the summer shades to add to my collection. Also Lacquer Rouge improves dry, rough, or peeling lips with continued use, leaving them smooth and deeply moisturized, so when I need to go out and wear colour on my lips it is a nice addition ontop of the Eve Lom.

The only con I have for this product is price. It is not soo affordable .

Have you tried Shiseido , what are your thoughts?.

What a stunning colour! I love coral lipsticks and that looks really opaque too. I haven't tried any Shiseido products, this looks like it's going to be my first ;)

Thanks for sharing.
