Makeup Revolution are a new affordable brand that I have recently discovered over on Facebook and Twitter . I came across it a couple of months ago but until now have not tried it. I seem to have missed out on something great but not no longer. Makeup Revolution launched in London March this year and already it is proving to be a huge hit. With affordable prices, variety in shades for all skin tones and a huge variety of products for face and nails and whats even better is that they deliver all around the world and are animal friendly. This is what they say about themselves:- We Are PASSION I received a parcel from them on Saturday and immediately loved the look of them. The products they sell look very familiar to those from MUA , Elf and I have also heard that one of their Palettes are a dupe for the Naked 3 from Urban Decay. First of all I would like to say this brand really is affordable and I have tried every thing they sent me . The prices vary from £1 up to £12 and plus the great thing about it is that if you buy the whole collection of certain items such as lipsticks, polishes or blushers you get discount. I have many more things in my basket and will certainly be purchasing a lot more products. As soon as my delivery arrived on Saturday morning , I tried these beauties...... I picked two colours to try first , Streetcar desire priced at only £1.50 and Cool days priced at only £1. I was not expecting much for the price to be honest but in fact they were lovely. They went on smoothly and dried very quickly also. I find most polishes even those that cost a lot more chip eventually , but I think this actually works well for me as I still have chip free nails two days later (that's good for me). I will be buying the rest of the shades in both the glitter and the plain tones , I would recommend these for sure. There was some thing that I really wanted to try that I was sent and that was the Liguid blush in O Boy priced at only £3. This is the first time I have actually tried liquid blush and am quite surprised at this one especially due to it being so pigmented. My first mistake was that I used one full pump of it and actually realised this was too much for this colour and my skin tone . I used a tiny amount today and was very pleased with the results. It blended in so easily and evenly and looked lovely on. In fact The tiny dot of where I had left the blush blob on my wrist before using my finger tips to apply it had been washed off as soon as I had finished and I still found a slight stain remaining. In my eyes I find this a good thing for my cheeks as I know this will last through the day and it has . I had two palettes to try first up was the Acid Brights which I really wanted to try just for the amazing colours , hoping that these would be perfect for the spring and summer seasons coming up. The other palette was the Essential Mattes which I was excited about as I use these colours daily so I know it will be used a lot of the time. Both of these palettes are only £4 each and you get 12 amazing shades in each one , bargain! I want them all. I have now added every single palette to my wishlist as these are absolutely amazing for the price and I can not see me buying any other palette now. They are so pigmented and the shades are fabulous. I have wore the Essential Mattes today . They blend fantastically and for the price I can not fault them at all. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves the brights collection so I will have to get another palette or two for her also. All of their products are not tested on animals so I am happy that I can buy them for her too as this is something I think about when buying her products. She does not wear makeup a lot of the time but she likes to have some on special occasions like her friends birthday parties. I am sure I could treat her to some for her 10th this June. Lipsticks are something I struggle to be pleased with . I am still looking for that perfect shade , not an everyday shade just something bright and cheerful, with creamy application and affordable price. I have currently been searching for a matte lipstick that stays on well for the day and I think I may have found it. The lipstick I have worn today is one from their collection and I love it. It does everything I need of it and what is even better is they have more shades for me to try at only £1 each............Bargain! I received two shades of the Amazing lipsticks, Dazzle and The one I looked at these thinking they were very similar looking to the MUA lipsticks which look the same and cost the same but in fact these feel creamier and the packaging feels more solid . Plus the little pots that are on the lipstick ends do not come of unlike MUA ones which I do not mind, I am very pleased with these and also have the rest of the colours in all shades from neutrals to even the brights on my wishlist. Last but not least is the one product I received that really did spring up on me when I seen someone review on it on their blog. Awesome Metal eye foils look like something I have not seen yet on the market . The name reminds me of foil nail polishes I currently own and I must say I was very excited to see how this wears on the lid , unfortunately I had already enjoyed the Essential Matte palette on my eyes so for now I only have a swatch . It is difficult for me to show the true shade and amazement of the effect as todays natural light reflects from it but I hope you trust me in saying this really does look exactly like foil. These are priced at £4. You get in each pack a metal circle plate for you to mix the contents of an eye primer and the Foil shadow together (I think adding a small tool to do this into the pack would be a great idea for Makeup Revolution ) I used a bobby hair pin . I love the idea they include the primer with it , it seems quite watery but maybe this is what helps the effect occur. The consistency of this is very creamy even before the primer is added and It will last a long time in my opinion. I am amazed by the quality and price of all the items I have used . The brand has definately impressed me and can expect a long term customer from now on.
I have browsed their site , made my wishlist and have my eye on a lot more of their items. I look forward to seeing what they have in store in the coming months and love how much variety they have on their online store. Makeup Revolution have very much surprised me . Give them a go and get over to Makeup Revolution for the bargain of a lifetime. Have you tried the brand yet, what do you think?

I absolutely love makeup and I would be willing to try these. I really like the blush and the palette that looks like the Naked Urban Decay. Looks great on you as well. Thanks for sharing.

How fun, I want to play with color too. The polish is awesome, so ready for summer colors.

i do like eye shadows and tend to use black or dark brown sometimes instead of a pencil, i like how you look but i would end a touch of a pencil or a darker line with a shadow to imitate pencil, but that what i do, maybe it wont be suitable for you or maybe you like yourself without it)

These look so great! I'm so behind with the make up trends, I can't remember when was the last time I bought any... Need to give this range a go, especially lipsticks. And if you say the nail polish stays on chip-free for couple of days, that's more than enough for me!

Looks like a good budget range. I like the brights - I think like any cheaper brand you'd have to layer up the colour for more pigment. Defo one I'll be trying - thanks for the introduction :-)
