Being a mum it is hard to know what truly is in your skin care unless reading the contents and we would hope that there were no harmful chemicals in them but how about finding a brand that is 98% natural and organic, would you buy it ? For me Organic skin care products for my children have always been a first choice and with my 10 year old daughter suffering with mild Eczema and my 5 year old son suffering with Dermatitis their skin needs Organic products that are dermatologically tested and approved, and paediatrician approved. Childs Farm products are now stocked in over 2000 stores and they stock over 15 different products that ensure your childs skin is healthy and happy , the brand are that happy in fact they now even have their own cartoon on the Cartoonito pre-school channel too. Where can you buy Childs Farm? You can purchase this brand from numerous stocklists Boots Ocado John Lewis Waitrose And of course Childs Farm I was very happy when I was asked to give these a try and when I was sent these products for review , the children seemed rather excited and surprisingly they already had heard of the brand . The first product I want to share with you is their quick dip 3 in 1 Hair to toe for after swimming product. Cost - £3.99 What they say about it - All Childs Farm products undergo clinical testing and user trials so that all our products are so mild, kind and safe for skin that they are suitable for sensitive eczema prone skin, and even newborns. This shampoo, conditioner and body wash All-in-one contains strawberry and organic mint and is perfect post-swim, washing away chlorine and leaving skin and hair clean & shiny.
How to use - Use a small amount to rub all over your hair and body , there is no sting formula but if it does get into the eyes then rinse with clean water. Ingredients - Aqua, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Parfum, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Stearyl Citrate, Argan Oil Polyglyceryl-6 Esters, Cassia Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sucrose Laurate, Lactic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Mentha Arvensis (Peppermint) Oil*, Citric Acid, Alcohol My thoughts on the 3 in 1 after swim - Price - £3.99 for this 250ml is a good price , for the fact that it is natural and organic , compared to other brands I would have normally bought for my childrens skin care regime, this is a little more pricey but a lot more beneficial to their skin . Packaging - Ok , this is the cutest and coolest child's packaging I have seen . My children recognised the product instantly by the cartoonistic illustration . The Packaging is bright, cheerful and fun and Ii for one love the chunky bottle with push button lid making it easier for my children not to overdo it when using it themselves as they would normally do. Product - First thing I would like to say is that I was pleasantly surprised to see that this product contains Argan oil . I have been loving it in my own hair and body products over on my beauty blog quite a lot recently so was pleased to see this ingredient in my children's also as I know the great results it gives . My eldest daughter goes swimming every Friday with the school and she comes back with irritated eczema from the chemicals in the water. I was shocked to find that she was not able to take this with her due to school regulations of not being allowed to take skin care products to the swimming area but ensured she had a shower as soon as she arrived home . I have to say that her skin seemed eased and less red on the areas where she would normally have eczema inflammation and the smell? I was delightfully surprised at how amazing this 3 in 1 swim products aroma was. At first I could smell Strawberry and a slight spearmint from the product but then I realised it actually smells like candy rock you get from the seaside and my husband also agreed as I caught him with his nose inside the bottle having a whiff because he liked it so much lol. The product left my daughters skin feeling clean , soft and still nourished, it looked refreshed and most of all I knew that it was all organic and doing her skin good and we have given it a big thumbs up for bath times too, I must get some of the bubble bath in full size for her. We also got a Top To Toesie Cleansing Kit. In the kit you receive -
What they say about this - A handy travel size bag, containing 100ml bottles of all you need for top to toe cleanliness!
Ingredients - Bubble Bath Aqua, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, Coco- Glucoside, Glycerin, Parfum, Sodium Lauryl Glucose, Carboxylate, Limonene, Sucrose Laurate, Lauryl Glucoside, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil*, Tocopherol, Alcohol, Citric Acid Hand & body lotion Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3 Dicitrate/stearate, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Benzyl Alcohol, Parfum, Limonene, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dehydroacetic Acid, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil*, Citronellol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract Hair & body wash Aqua, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Argan Oil Polyglyceryl-6 Esters, Parfum, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Lauryl Glucoside, Limonene, Lactic Acid, Sucrose Laurate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil*, Citric Acid, Alcohol, Amyl Cinnamal My thoughts on this Kit -
Price -To pay £8.99 for Three organic skin care products at 100ml each, this for me is a little more than I would like to pay considering the bigger bottles are only £3.99 each and this works out at just short of £3 per bottle . For me , I would prefer to pay an extra £3 for three full size bottles but if you need travel size I could see these being a great indulgance for a one of buy. Packaging - As always the fun and cheerful, bright packaging stands out and with each bottle having its own theme such as Dirty Rascals on the farm or meditating horses laying in bed, the packaging brings the routine of bath and bedtime to life in imaginary play. Product- All three products have a different scent to the 3 in 1 swim, in fact this time they have given this kit an amazing tangy nectarine scent which screams orange jelly to me and of course it is organic orange. The bubble bath fills the bath of soft and sparkling bubbles and my bathroom was left smelling of Oranges for the full evening afterwards. As with the 3 in 1 swim, the hair and body wash was perfectly fantasitc, makde my hcildrens skin , soft, clean and looking refreshed nourished. That orange scent does actually stick to the skin well for a white afterwards as I felt myself sniffing at my younger sons hair for the rest of the night whilst reading him bedtime stories. Not knowing what to expect form the hand and body lotion I was surprised to find that it was not as milky as I was expecting and in fact is a lovely texture to which my children are still loving and applying as often as they feel they need to. My children love lotions , they have a tendency to follow me to the bathroom after my bath time routine and share moisturisers so I am actually very happy that there is an organic Lotion for hands and body for them to which I can let them enjoy themselves. I have to say that out of all the products the hair and body wash and swim 3-1 product as well as the bubble bath are my ultimate favourites , I love the scents, the organic and freshness feeling from using them and also the fact that the packaging is so fun filled . It makes my children's cleaning routine that little more fun and it helps me knowing they want to do those important things such as washing and moisturising because they are enjoying using the products so I do not need to nag them as they no longer feel it a boring regime. Not only are the children loving it for the actual products results whilst using but my daughter is also loving the fact that it is not inflaming her eczema as much as other products used to which means she enjoys rather than dreads going swimming now and for this alone , I would totally recommend Childs Farm to any parent who want Natural and fun products for their child (or themselves for that matter as I am also loving the bubble bath ) .
