I have three girls and there are 2 of them who seem to have a creative streak in them when it comes to hair. They love nothing more than the idea of owning the wackiest coloured hair but unfortunately for them , they are only 8 and 10 years of age so the option is non existant . Well that was until last week when these came through the door. That is right , my box from the team at Derma V10 had a pack of Chalk It up Hair colours in and I knew the girls would be excited as soon as they saw them. I have to admit the hair chalk thing has not been one of my favourite fashion follows but for the children, why not? It is fun, easy and brings a smile to their face . Suppose it beats painting on paper! On Thursday night my eldest daughter Sian had a play and she went for the blue chalk as I would have suspected . Firstly she tried it by rubbing the chalk down her hair dry but the colour was very faint and so she added some water to the chalk and it worked a lot better . Sian brushed her hair afterwards and the colour faded much to my relief but she was pleased with the outcome. Drew then decided it was her turn and she was more than willing to choose more than one colour so opted for a rainbow pink, purple and yellow plait. Please remember this is not a professional artistic streak that I own , the mess just comes naturally lol. Oops, I think I may have even coloured in her ear lobe to. Remembering that these hair chalks were for the children I decided to ask Drew her thoughts on the product and here is what she thought - Have you heard about this brand before? No, na, never! Do you think £5 for them is a good price? I think they are really nice so I would buy them with my pocket money. Love them or hate them? Love them, because they have my favourite colours blue ,red , purple ,yellow and pink. How do you like the packaging? I like the box they come in because it is bright and the chalks go in their own place. How did the chalks work best? They worked best when they were wet by spraying the ends of the chalk with water and then rubbing them downwards on the hair. Did the chalks stain? No, the colour left on my hands came of with soapy water. How easy did the colour come out? The colour came of all the time, it come out on my T-shirts and on my pillow when I was in bed but after it had been brushed it did not come of so much . Would you ask to have them again? Yes because it was fun and easy. Drew has thoroughly enjoyed the Derma V10 Chalk It Up Hair Colours and because of them being so child friendly and easy to use I had no fear in removing the bright shade from her hair ready for school. The hair only had to be brushed and the colour faded but still left a faint colour on the hair which still looked pretty . You only had to give it a wash once or twice before the colour had completely disappeared. Derma V10 Chalk It Up can be bought from Amazon for only £5 (unfortunately currently out of stock ) but you can find out more about them by visiting @Dermav10 On Twitter or check out their other available products on their website .
How much fun do you think you and your little ones could have with the Chalk It Up colours?

Do they fade after a few washes my daughter is naturally blonde and used the yellow but it is still very visible in places through her hair any suggestions as to how I can get it all out?
