When I was younger , my mum used to help encourage the belief of fairies and I have always passed that magic to my children. The one of many lovely memories I have is on a cold rainy day. I was inside due to the April showers and in our garden we had paving slabs that had gaps in them. Mum had put a small barbie shoe on the paving slabs and because of the gaps there were bubbles coming through. She said the fairies had been trying to fly to the nearby woods where we lived close by for shelter from the rain and one of them had dropped one of her shoes. With the bubbles and the shoe magically appearing (as I thought) , my imagination grew to believe that fairies did exist and that's what makes me now follow that inspiration onto my children. The magic that happened in our garden. In every child's Imagination there is a wonderful things that happens, the magic begins and the wonder unfolds. Yesterday we sat down on the grass to enjoy the rays of the sunshine in our garden when we noticed in the corner of our eye a sparkle flew past us. It was so quick we could not quite capture the wonder of its presence but we could feel it was a happy one. The only sign it had been was the shimmer of magic dust it had left behind. My little girl shouted ''Mummy it must be a fairy'' We wandered around looking for it but there was no sign so we decided to go back in doors and wait and see if it returned. Today we woke to a magical sun shining in our garden, it was if there was no sun anywhere else but just in our garden and we wondered why . As the children ran to play in the garden to play, little Libby screamed . ''look , look mummy the fairies have made a house in our garden '' As me and my younger son ran over to explore we noticed something fly past us once again like we had seen yesterday. The excitement in their eyes were magical. Here is what we discovered. Whilst trying to open the door , two gorgeous fairies flew over and asked us why we were trying to open the door. We told them we wanted to see what was behind it. The fairies explained , if we see behind the door all the magic that fairies hold would disappear because behind that door held the worlds magical land that made the sun shine, the rainbows rise with all of its wonderful colours, the magic dust that helped the beautiful flowers grow and the fairy creatures that helped the fairies do there daily jobs. We spent the whole day talking and playing with the fairies whilst wondering if one day , we might get to go behind the door. They said if we looked after the door and helped them keep it safe and hidden we might one day get the chance.
