Halloween school party

So its that time for year again and all the ghouls and ghosts are coming out from the dark hollows of the unknown.

This year school holidays are earlier than Halloween so the childrens school decided to throw them their party early.

I bought the usual face paints from Tesco but they were rubbish . They were rock hard, even moistened down with a spritz of water or cream still left them dry, hard to apply and not working as well as expected so I got out the makeup and played nicely.

Here are their final looks .
Picture
Kaiden aged 3yrs decided he wanted to dress as Dracula.
Painting his whole face white then drawing the big black eyebrows on kaiden came out great, I added the black veins and shadow contour on his cheekbones to make him look more gastly.
Picture
Leon aged 4yrs was a scary werewolf.
Leon was easy. His outfit and a mask and knife and he was ready to go.
Picture
Libby  aged 6yrs decided on a smurking witch
Giving her a sparkly purple eye lid with a deathly colour eye makes her look ghostly. But adding that skeleton like grin made her look even more great.
Picture
Drew aged 7yrs was dying damned
Those creeping veins popping thru Drews skin and her dying eyes make her look the part, especially with those blood thirsty lips.
Picture
Sian aged 9yrs , well she went as herself, lol, no of course she dressed as the Goth.
An Annabelles wig named Megan and some dying eyes with liner make Sian happy . It is not too far from her comfort zone especially with that rocking red lippy lined in black eyeliner.
They all had a fabulous time, and I had fun attempting to make them look frightful.

The makeup used in all of these looks was MUA , and the only thing I struggled with was removing the liner form the eyebrows and eyes, but with a little body lotion rubbed into their skin before wiping with a cloth, it soon came clean.

All outfits were bought from Tesco
  • Girls - 3x witch dresses costing only £2 each, brooms £1 and tights £1.50 totalling to £13.50 - Bargain!
  • Boys - Dracula full outfit and werewolf full oufit £8 each plus x2 knives costing £1 each totalling - £18

                                                                                               = £31.50

Overall a fabulous time dressing them up and a bargain too.

What were your little ones dressing up as this year?
