Home schooling can be a daunting prospect for anyone I'm sure , especially when your mum to 8 from ages 1 all the way to soon to be 15 years old . When I made the decision , it was a very tough choice to make but I kept telling myself that I was doing it for the good of my children and to give them a better start , the best I could if possible . The thought of making a mistake and failing them is always a fear I have in the back of my head and as people , friends and family keep asking me "How do you do it, you must be crazy " or "How can you do that , you've got no qualifications , you never even passed a single GCSE?" I start to question my own ability to if I can actually really home school them and make it all work. I've no teaching skills what so ever in the world of classroom terms and when I came across an educational resource site called Twinkle , the excitement that home schooling was actually possible with all the support needed 24/7 was there made me feel like I could actually achieve this with more confidence. Twinkle gives all ages of educational age everything they need to achieve fun and easy learning , with tools, tips , shortcuts and techniques that help build their learning to a level they feel comfortable with and enabling them to reach their potential . With Twinkle , you're never too young too learn , they cater for every age and ability from early years to the elderly and what's even better is that they also support and have their own section for those who need help with special educational needs . The site is easily navigated and it's easy to plan your work or activities with the new Imagine , create or PlanIt sections . Life feels a little more organised and a Lot less stressful with Twinkle and the fantastic resources it offers. To get a feel for Twinkl why don't you take a look at their blog and check out an Upcoming event they're holding at their kindness week from 6th - 10th February , you can find some fantastic early years , KS1 and KS2 FREE kindness resource packs and even an assembly PowerPoint to get you started with many activities that are sure to keep them busy and happy in learning throughout the week. Theres no end to the diversity of this site and even when your losing a little inspiration they even have some of that for you to on the 'Inspire Me' section also .

I was homeschooled for two years with one of my sisters, and I'm sure my mom would have loved something like Twink!

We use twinkl for some things even though my son isn't home schooled. We haven't registered as his nanna and aunt both have accounts due to them being teachers x

Twinkl looks like a fantastic resource for homeschooling parents and their children. I think this would be very helpful and fun and a good supplement to whatever curriculum parents are using for their children.

See I admire those who can homeschool and while I love the concept I have to admit as a mum to 6 I enjoy the hours they are at school, yes I love reading and homework and playing schools but I know I could not do it full time so hats off to you

Homeschooling does seem to be becoming more popular. I have many friends who do it and very successfully. They may even know about this site but if not I will definitely direct them to it.

I don't know much about homeschooling but I can imagine in addition to your regular housework and duties, it can be very busy. Glad you found something to help you manage and be more organized!

My kids actually keep asking if they can be home schooled! But we can't afford for one of us not to work at the moment so it would prove too tricky. If we won the lottery though we'd certainly consider it!

Twinkle looks like a very great site to use for homeschooling. I loosely am homeschooling my 2 year old and 4 year old (who is in preschool 2 days a week). I hope to get to the point of full on homeschooling once all of my kids reach school age. I will keep Twinkle saved as a resource.

I don't think I could home school my children although I work from home so that really wouldn't help at all. This seems very reasonably priced.

Looks like a great resource! I do a lot of private tutoring and I think this would come in handy for that too.
