Starter Game This 2-player game is designed for Monsuno™ beginners and helps teach techniques that will be valuable in Basic and Intermediate game play. Object of the Game:Hit the opposing player’s Core to gain points. The first player to gain 5 points wins! Setup:Both players prepare to launch their Cores. Load figures inside Cores and set Cores in the unlocked position. Players should be about 16 inches (40 cm) away from each other. The area between players is the battlefield. Prepare:Start by deciding who is the Attacker and who is the Defender. The youngest player Attacks first. Step 1:Defender launches their Core into the battlefield. The Core should spin near the center of the battlefield. Step 2:Once the Defender’s Core is spinning inside the battlefield, the Attacker aims and launches their Core with the goal of hitting the Defender’s Core. Step 3:Calculate Points based on the below outcomes. You must be the Attacker to gain points.

This game is aimed for boys aged around 8yrs plus but my brothers aged 3yrs and 4yrs love it too and being soo small I was worried they might break them but they are really hard to break, I think thats because they are meant to be thrown and spun around at each others tubes. They can be quite fiddly to fold up but once you know how its easy . Each charactor has a sticky out piece marked with a dot on so you know which piece should be placed into the tube first so it stays in there and locks in properly. Me and my brithers and sisters are having a great time flicking our tube cores at each others tube cores, if we are not playing with them we are using the figures for our own make up games. I will be getting more and the rest of the collection, its on my xmas list , the same as my brothers too, we all want them all.
