So today we celebrated our old favourite playtime fun over on Twitter. We actually had our fun last week so not to miss the fun over on twitter but both were fabulous and with a huge load of the new Plasticine Softeez created by Flair , we could not resist in making this a party . First of all we shared all of the new Plasticine Softeez with the children, we were amazed at how many different colours there were and definitely had enough to keep us very busy . We had two Under The Sea Boxes which retail currently at £7.50 from Hobbycraft.co.uk . We split the children into two groups and gave them the challenge of creating their Under The Sea Worlds. They both worked really well and became rather competitive but their final creations were full of creativity . In this set you got 12 amazing colours to create an under the sea world as well as a colourful play mat, some cutting tools and even shapes to help start the creativity. I even spotted a Mermaid with chicken pox in their, did you? While I let them play with their Softeez tub while I prepared their party food , I found that they made some remarkable models . We were so impressed with their ideas of ladybirds, faces and butteflies that they even decided to add them onto their cake . Maybe we have brought on their cake creation ideas with this idea . Talking of cakes , we were also sent the Cupcake Creations to which is currently only £6.00 . They looked so good that if it was possible we would have eaten them. This set came with 9 blocks of plasticine , a mould for the cake base and icing top as well as the cutting tools . During the party there were a few little games to keep them going that did not include the kits . One of them was the snake challenge which everyone seemed to suddenly get competitive with . The idea was to have only one block of Plasticine and make the longest snake they could with only that one piece. We had a good few attempts and even one measured up to 76 cm but they all seemed to like the little ones idea of making his snake into a Ninja Bandana so they gave him the prize of (yes that's right) more plasticine,,, woo. As well as colouring in and playing with one of my most loved creative play products of all time we had a great time getting everyone together to enjoy making our imagination come to life . It seemed the more we thought about something, they more we thought of making later on. The ideas of making a New York Skyline scene was one that captured the older ones idea and I for one would love to see that come to life . After two whole hours of partying on Twitter and even longer at the home party , we eventually packed up and handed out the Goodie bags which were filled with some fantastic things for the children. The one thing that really impressed me with this plasticine was that we actually had our party last week and true to its word , it did not dry out even though we left it out on our table for a while week.
It was easy to mould for old and young hands and the colours kept their bright , cheerful shades without fading . We had a fantastic time and it gave us some more amazing ideas for our next party , I wonder what is next?

This looks like a great product. I like that it didn't dry out even after a week-that is impressive! Your children have created some lovely things.

Oh, I haven't played with plasticine in years! My memories are mainly of it being hard and dry so it's great there's now a softer version.
