Comic relief -We saved lives with your support thankyou

The world gathers together to raise funds for people in the UK and Africa every  2 year for Comic relief and this year we wanted to join in.

The many times I have sat and watched the programme and thought to myself , I will do something like that next year but never have .
Yes I had put pennies into a tub or bought a red nose but was it really good enough I knew I could do much more.

This year Izziwizzi and Gelli Baff supported me in my dare, and so we decided to be gunked in Gelli Baff by the kids.

In the last 2 months, I asked the school to use their premises , I wanted to involve them too and having hundreds of kids gunk me would be a great help . I had sponsors from companies and some even sent things for the raffle, I was amazed at how supportive people were being and I wanted to make it a great day, we had a cake sale and games, and even hired a fire engine as they asked me to try something more to help raise the funds, and of course me being the target and being gunked.

Unfortunately the day before we were due to have our gunking , the school pulled out due to health and safety, they said they had not done the necessary checks for allowing people into the building for an event, so it was very upsetting that so many people had helped support me for two months and now I was left with no place for the event  with only 24 hrs left, I sat crying my eyes out on Thursday 14th not knowing what to do, I was gutted.

Fortunately Gelli Baff had already sent me the Gelli and friends had bought raffle tickets, plus I also had an auction for a Piamichi dress which was worn by Chloe on bachelor UK TV show last year, so I decided to still go for it, there was no way after coming this far I was going to quit.

I decided that on Saturday 16th , I would get our kids , to throw it at me outside ,so if there were anyone walking passed they would see also and if wanted to join in .

Here's what happened....

So far we have raised a fantastic £149 on the official rednose day sponser page so a huge well done and thank you to everyone who helped by sponsoring , sharing and donating

The winner of the Piamichi dress was Jenny Leonard also known as  The Brick Castle , Helen Best won the Rihanna / River Island LFW Goody bag and Sam Curran won the beauty goody bag . There were lots more .
