This year has been a great exciting celebration of a year. In fact Teletubbies have celebrated their 20TH anniversary and whats more is they've brought out the new additions to keep you even more excited , The Tiddlytubbies!

Back in 1997  the Teletubbies aired their first Episode and everyone seemed to go crazy with their cuteness , there was even a theme song ''Teletubbies say Eh Oh '' which hit the charts and stayed number 1 for two weeks running not long after their show was screened.

The main characters of the show were four Teletubbies . Four very different characters with four different personalities in different colours and who had a different shape on their heads .
Each character had a T.V screen on the tummy and they all lived in a hill called the Superdome .
They have friends such as Noo noo the blue hoover who likes to eat their Tubby custard, the Sun whose face is of a laughing , smiling baby and the Voice Trumpets who tells them when its time to go to bed or give them instructions of play time , the Trumpets are the only residents of Tubbyland that speak in normal full snetences unlike the Teletubbies who speak in baby like talk.
  • Tinky Winky (Purple male)
  • Dipsy (Green Male )
  • La la (Yellow female)
  • Po (Red female)
Back in 2015 , the Tiddlytubbies were introduced . Just like the Teletubbies, they too share their own personal looks, personalities and again have their own T.V  screeens inbedded in their tummy but this time there are more of them . There are 8 Tiddlytubbies -
  • Daa-Daa (green male)
  • Umby Pumby (yellow female)
  • Baa (navy blue male with sphere antenna)
  • Ping (pink female with triangle antenna).
  • Mi-Mi (sky blue female)
  • RuRu (orange male)
  • Nin (purple female)
  • Duggle Dee (red male).

They again have Noo noo as well as the new Tiddly noo and the voice Trumpets are also included.

Now that Tiddlytubbies have grown to be Popular, there is now a huge demand for the toys and in July , the toys were released and as we have a few fans of the show here in the Prince household , we were very lucky to be sent one of the new Teletubbies Shuffle and Giggle Tiddly Tubby.

Meet Ping .
Picture
Ping is adorable , she has the most addictive giggle and shuffles rather swiftly across the floor which enabled my youngest son to follow her lead , laughing and shuffling across the floor beside her.
By pressing a button on her back , your small child is able to see Ping crawl and giggle across the floor and because she is made of soft towelling and a textured face, she is just perfect for cuddling too .

This toy is aimed at children aged 18 months + and requires x3 AAA batteries which are included .
Picture
I love that this has minimal packaging ,for me its essential that toys arent over bearing with silly amounts of mass boxing and cable ties.
It tells me what it does clearly and I can see other available options if I ever did want to collect them all .
Giant Po is definitely on our Christmas List as well as the Giggling Tiddlytubbies . My son carries his Clip-ons everywhere with him and in fact we have used them as soother clips (holding 5 soothers at a time ). Everyone comments on the great idea and we've not lost a soother in months now .
Picture
This shuffling cutie is priced at £24.99 and those heart fluttering eyes are what makes them all the more adorable and makes you want to collect them all .
They are available from Character-online.com along with many more of the Teletubby and Tiddlytubby products.

When I was a child, I was obsessed with the Tellytubbies! I used to refuse to eat my dinner unless it was Tellytubbies time. This toy sounds like such a great idea for kids that area learning to crawl and discover the world. They can do it with the help of one of the Tellytubbie gang!

Hehe, I remember I had a couple of little girls that lived next door to be when teletubbies were all the rage. The smallest was two years old and she was besotted by them. I thought they looked a little crazy..lol. But I appreciated the appeal and through her eyes I grew to love them as much as she did.

I remember watching Teletubbies growing up! I heard that they had their own babies now which is slightly disturbing haha. I have to admit though, these are really cute
