The boys have been very excited this past couple of weeks and more so this week when they received their own little parcel from the post man. Omg , do you remember the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when you were little? I do, and it was not long ago that I sat and watched their new Movie and laughed as loud as I did back then. Last year we spent an arm and a leg on every single item of TMNT toy for our youngest son who was at that time 3 years old . He was loving them , the figures were solid but it did not take long for Kaidens brother aged 5 years to break the vehicles including the large vehicle too. We as you would expect were more than upset after spending a fortune on the toys , he had the whole set but we never expected them to be quite so flimsy. We should have waited till he was a little older but by that time , we had no idea if he would still be enjoying them . We were so excited hearing about the New toy range . The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are now cuter , child friendly and did I mention cuter? Now they are ''The Half Shell Heroes'' It is the younger version of the Turtles , and I am so impressed with how cheeky and cute they look. I know adorable right? I have no idea why The Turtles went out of fashion , I remember my older sister had the biggest file filled with the biggest collection of Turtle collecting cards and stickers .I remember because I was not aloud to touch it at all and when I did , I was in trouble . It was a massive hit back in my younger years around and considering I think they were more leant towards a boys toy , I simply loved the fun and cute nature of the bubbly characters that each one had. Michaelangelo was the favourite, with his cheeky humour and love for pizza and it was only last week my husband and I were talking about how much we loved watching it every weekend on a Saturday morning. Well , Now that the new Half Shell Heroes are here I am determined to buy this bundle too. The Half Shell Heroes are more aimed towards the smaller children like my two younger boys ages 4 and 5 years but are aimed for 2 to 5 years . Small enough to handle in the tiny hand but not as breakable as the range we had previously bought last Christmas. I wish in fact these had been released a lot sooner. The boys were so pleased when they got their little gift from the postman and here is why- They both received a card each , to them from the Half Shell Heroes. With each card , they both received a Christmas gift which included one of the Half Shell Hero Figures. They were presented in a bauble which could be hung on the tree. The boys were very pleased as you can see and they have took them out of their baubles , left the baubles on the tree and since carried their little figures in their pockets when venturing out.
It seems the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are not a lost love as I loved them over 20 years ago and my little ones love them now. If you would like to try and win some of the new range from Half Shell Heroes , please visit Uk Mums Tv as they are hosting a December Advent competition , giving you the chance to win some every day . Thank you to Half Shell heroes for sending the boys a Merry Christmas , they are your biggest fans already.
