 Is anyone else taken back to their childhood when it comes to toys such as these? The Zelf Series 4 is out now and my daughter is enjoying them a lot . The best way to describe these Zelfs to any parent would be to say they remind me a lot like the Trolls which was actually created back in 1959 but I did not fall in love with them myself until the 80's. What they say about Zelfs - "Meet the Zelfs! The newest and cutest collectable characters around! When the twilight moon is in the sky, Zelfs appear in a secret garden called Zardenia... an enchanted world of magical Fabitats. Zelfs are playful creatures with unique personalities.''  It really does take me back to my childhood, These Zelfs come in all colours and themes and just like those Trolls did, they have that fabulous hair which becomes addictive to play with as a child. We were lucky to be sent Stardust to review and being our favourite colour with a rainbow lock of fuzz , we were very happy to get it open and start playing. My daughter loved the aspect that it came with a hair clip and comb. She set straight to styling the hair and even used the comb and clip on her own hair . As you can see from the back of each Zelf Packaging, each Zelf has its own personality , power, fabitat and birthday and this is what is s appealing to my daughter. My daughter loves nothing more than having a collection of things and when a new toy comes out that means you start with one and end up with lots of them but all different in some way or another , she simply loves to collect them .  The Zelf stands on its own with no aid or having the need to hold it in place which makes it a great posing toy for shelves and doll houses . The quality is fantastic, there is no way that these little chunky toys are going to break easily and well the hair, we all know how fantastic it is to shake those pointy shaped hairstyles upside down and no matter what you do with it , it always goes back to its original state.  The other great thing about this toy is that it is small enough to be taken any where with you, there has been on many occasions a Zelf found in my daughters coat pocket while out and about and that to me is what makes it an ideal pocket money toy especially being so affordable which is why collecting these does not cost an arm and a leg to us parents.
