How exciting can one child be when the post arrives and they know it is something for them? Well when these two medium Zelfs arrived last week for my two smaller girls Drew and Libby, I knew instantly they would be excited to get them open . They remind me of the Trolls I had when I was younger or more so the ones my sister had and I tried to play with but was barred as they were her prize collection. The only thing different Ii find with these is the fact they seem a little smaller than I remembered the trolls to be like but I am not going to lie in saying these are so much more adorably cute with more about them than a little bit of fuzzy hair. Yes I still had the urge to shake the Zelf up and perfect the hair into that upward Jedward style updo. Talking about hair , this time the new series of Zelfs have concentrated on exactly that and who can blame them ? Each Zelf has as always there very own style and personality and this time around it is not only in their appearance of their outfits but in their hair to. We had two Zelfs - Wizzikas - The playful winged kitten Zelf Candy lou - The sweet tooth Candy Zelf Both Zelfs came with a small comb , a couple of elastic loom type bands for tying up the hair and also a hair wrap which holds the Zelfs hair in style. This series 5 collection is available at Character-online.com and each one costs only £5.99 . The girls loved both of these Zelfs and have added them to their small collection which they seem eager to grow now and have been playing with them all week. I think the thing that has attracted them to this series is the spiral hair tie which were not included with other Zelfs . Wizzikas was the white Kitty who had a set of angel like wings on her back and a long hard lilac bushy tail . She came with a blue sparkly comb and a pink Spiral hair tie with a kitten pictured onto it. Candy lou was the pink candy themed Zelf and she came with a pink comb and spiral hair tie which sported a sweet on the piece itself. The candy cane theme is in pink and her wings have been changed also into candy canes tied in a bow and I suspect this is the girliest of the two because it is so pink . Even her hair line and ears look sprinkled in sugar strands. For me , the creative aspect and fun , colourful detail is what makes these little cute Zelfs a toy that my children want to play with and collect.
At only £5.99 each they are affordable both for us parents but also as a pocket money treat for the children making collecting them more fun and easy to do. What do you think of the new Series of Zelfs, has your little one spotted and pocketed them yet?

haha everything seems small when you're older doesn't it?! The girls look happy with their Zelfs though!

Those actually look quite well made, and the hair styling opportunity would really appeal to my daughter!

My daughter has had a few of the small ones and she did like them but not a clue what she has done with them now.

These look like just the kind of toy that young kids like to play with. They're a good size to carry around and make up stories with.

My three year old loves these, especially the little ones that come in tiny mushroom type pots!
