So we all know how much I love the colour purple, I know people tend to shy away when it comes to certain shades and this purple actually looks quite dark for my liking with a backtone of blue in there but I actually had to wear this shade before I found I liked it.
In the bottle it looks so dark , my daughter actually thought it was black until I showed her it in the light .
''A grape affair'' is a beautiful purple shade that can be quite deceiving but looks beautiful on.
Costs - £8.95 for 15ml
There is no surprise that this polish is in fact inspired by Fanta Grape – Make a big to-do in this deepest, darkest purple.
This polish is most definitely a cream polish and I actually find this quite vampish but this shade of purple is to me. It seems quite a smokey shade.
The consistency of the formula was fabulous (I know , I say that about most of the OPI polishes ) and it went on very well.
There was no streaking at all on application and the high shine finish looked almost like a gel finish that fabulous I did not even apply the top coat in these pictures .
For me it did take three coats , for some reason I found it to be quite opaque on the first coat but in certain areas there seemed to be a transparent patch so 2 coats filled those in .
So what do you think about this shade from the OPI Coca Cola Collection , will you go and give it a try?
Honestly , this is becoming an obsession now , I seem to have gone completely OPI mad this week but I still have some more to show you , so keep an eye out because the next one is a sparkling polish.
