Bringing Spring Early To My Nails With Butterflies

I have to admit, getting past the Christmas and New Year has been rather pleasing , especially as I am now sick of seeing santa and snowman everywhere so you can imagine my relief when I woke up this week and looked out of the window to see snow on the fields outside my house.
Arghhh,,,,,,,,why cant we have some sunshine?
Snow to me is what symbolises Christmas time and to be quite frank I have had enough of it now and want the Spring to appear.
No more Green and Reds , bring on the pretty pastels and bright oranges and yellows, I am ready for it!

Trying to bring on the Spring a little eagerly , I decided to show my enthusiasm in the form of my nails .
Over the festive season I had enjoyed some fantastic Christmas themes but now I was in need of something pretty and Charlies Nail Art were as always full of ideas to brighten my day and this time in the form of some stunning butterflies.....OMG , my favourite ever of all the animals and creatures. So much that it was the same theme I got married with.

As you may have already seen, Charlies Nail Art  supply you with numerous amounts of endless fantastic designs from Decals, transfers , 3d Nail art , stickers and so much more and the great thing about the products from them is that you can pick them up for as little as 25p depending on what you are looking for .

Here are the fantastic Brown & Cream Butterfly Transfers-
Picture
Cost - £1.00

Where to buy - Charlies Nail Art

Amount of transfers - 1 sheet which incudes 34 seperate designs.

The transfers are very simple to use -

  • Clean your nail from any oils or dirt .
  • Peel the clear sheet from the top of the transfers sheet.
  • Cut each design into separate pieces ensuring the transfers chosen fit the nail .
  • Place the pieces into a shallow bowl of water as shown below
Picture
  • As the transfers separate from the paper , the paper will fall onto the bed of the bowl leaving the transfer floating (see picture below).
  • Use the tip of a dry finger and touch the floating transfer, this will then attatch the transfer to your finger.
  • Press your finger (which is holding the transfer) onto your nail carefully.
  • As soon as you can, release your finger from the nail ensuring the transfer is fixed onto the nail then leave to dry .
  • For best results, apply a clear topcoat to secure and keep the transfer onto the nail.

My thoughts on the Butterfly Transfers -

I have found these so simple to use and they are actually very quick to apply.
The whole process took me no longer than 10 minutes which to me is nothing .

The transfers lie flush with the nail and surprisingly these seem thinner than the last transfers I used which made the finishing effect look more appealing and there were no edges lifted to show that this was in fact a transfer.

For me the design is very clear, bright and effective and that is what Ii would look for in a transfer, we don't want a dull boring design do we?

The added difference in sizes and the odd flower been added into this butterfly sheet makes it less average and gives you a little inspiration .

For me , transfers are making my life a little easier , I can choose form so many choice of designs and the effect always looks fantastic no matter what the theme.

What do you think about the Butterfly Transfers, will you be giving them a try or do you have a creative streak and draw on your own ?
