If you remember a couple months back when I reviewed the Dr Lewinn's Renunail strengthening range, you may remember how very excited I was to finally have long nails that I had fell in love with after using their product for two months continuously.
This time I was asked by them to review their new colour range.
Yes that is right , they have brought a new collection of shades with Key strengthening ingredients -Keratin, Bamboo and Calcium that will help protect nails and promote growth. This will ensure your nails stay stronger for longer whilst being free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP).
I have the full collection of nail care from Dr Lewinn's including the nail file, hand cream, oils and strengthening range and now having this on my stand made me smile with great pleasure.
For all those who have suffered from very brittle nails and failed to grow them to respective length, you will know how amazing it feels to finally have gorgeous nails and Dr Lewinn's give me just that with no painstaking treatments or time consuming routines.
There are 5 different shades in the new Dr Lewinn's Colour line -

So heres the Colour range in all its glory-
The shades Black Plum ( a deep burgundy purple), Cashmere ( a light greyish beige), Graphite ( a mid grey tone) , Marshmallow ( a baby pink ), Pomegranate ( very red with slight pink fuchsia tone) all seem to startle me a little with the deep colours, but these are the perfect shades for this Autumn especially.
It seems they have chosen quite an unusual mix of shades, not very inspiring to say the least but I do hope to see a more vast range of shades in the coming months. Would love to see some pastels or brights in there.
The polish is easy to apply leaving no smudges or streaks and dries pretty quickly leaving a lovely shine to the finish. In fact the polish leaves a very high shine finish even without the need to add the top coat but for longer wear I would advice to wear the top coat as well.
Using the top coat will give it an even more shine and last longer which I absolutely love .
The strenghtening formula has quite a strong odour which is something I am not keen on but the colour range does not and it is doing wonders for my nails just as the others have .
I love that each polish is very opaque .
The brush application on these polishes are fantastic and the polish collects perfectly making it easy to apply leaving it look smooth to the finish. Very easy to hold and apply. I actually prefer their brush to some of my favourite brands.
The packaging is not so great, I do not like the big white sticker and would love to see this range with the Black and red printed labelling which gives it a more luxurious look.
The bottles are however very solid and I have on occasions dropped mine and not had no panic of smashes or spills.
The price of £14 is a little higher than I would like but considering these are a multi purpose polish that strengthen and colour my nails , I would buy these if more shades were added to the range.
For those who love a multi purpose polish which gives colour, protection and strengthening , I would totally recommend this range. The colours are not as dull as they sound and there are some I will most definitely wearing throughout the year ,not just for Autumn such as the Marshmallow , they are growing on me more and more and seeing my nails starting to grow to a healthy state again is a pleasure to see .
So will you be trying them, have you?
Let me know........
