Oh I do love the Easter theme . There is always so many different themes to go with for your nails but I have no doubt most of them will be adapted with Decorated eggs and Bunny rabbits or even the Chick if your lucky . Always colourful and cheerful with the bright summery yellows and oranges I seem to be transfixed each year with a plain nail stating those exact shades but this year I was determined to give some fantastic transfers a try and of course Charliesnailart.co.uk were the obvious option for the decoration. As with all transfer sheets from Charliesnailart.co.uk they are only £1 and this design sports 5 different designs including three large eggs, a small egg and a cheerful pink bunny . The transfers are cut into sections and placed into a shallow bowl of cold water, this helps the transfer detach itself from the white sheeting paper easily without the need for you to scrape , it really is very easy to do . Once the white sheet drops to the bottom of the bowl leaving the transfer floating , you can then use a cuticle pusher or tweezers to pick up the transfer and transfer to the nail. I have used this technique leaving the transfer on the sheet and then pressing my finger on top of the transfer as well and it works just as good so it is up to you which you find easier. Once the Transfers are on the nail and the nail is dry from any water droplets which you will no doubt have on from the application, you can then finish the look off by using a top coat to ensure it stays put and also give it that smooth finish . The transfers are so easy to use, not fidgety at all and if you use a good top coat , these will last a good few days , depending on how much you have your hands into the kitchen sink which to me is everyday so they typically only last me around 4-5 days. I decided to give this Easter look a scatter effect with one feature finger which as you will see by my next post includes the Nail Foils so please keep an eye out as this is one of their products I have not until now tried and until next time realised how to use it and came up with a wonderful effect . So what do you think of the wonderful Easter theme, will you be giving your nails a spring Finish ?
