Monochrome Nails in 5 minutes

In a hurry , do not feel creative or simply want a quick fix to those dreaded nails?

Well look no further at the Monochrome , no glue needed press on nails by Elegant Touch.

I got these from the gorgeous ReallyRee when she held a competition on twitter a couple of months a go.

I do not normally wear false nails,  In fact , I have not worn any since I was a teenager but for some reason I fancied a change.

The last time I wore falsies, were a huge pain and took me forever to apply, fiddly and not fitting me correctly. You got a tiny tube of glue which never stuck to the nail no matter what the preperation was always peeled of within an hour .

This time however , I had so many different options to choose from I decided to go with the Abstract All Sorts . They seemed to match my new bedding I had just bought earlier on in the day and I loved the different patterns for each finger idea.
I opened up the packet , searching for the tube of glue, scissors in hand ready to make them fit to size and found nothing but the nails themselves and some sticky tabs.

Looking at my husband as if to say , 

''Yeah right, these aint going to stick to my nails for even 10 minutes''

I then proceeded to pick out the false nails that were closest fit to my nails and lined them up .

I pushed the cuticles back slightly and started to add a sticky clear tab to each of my fingers .

The Elegant Touch false nails actually fit my nails perfectly this time around and so I had no need to cut them or even file them .Basically peel the clear sheet from the sticky tab and pressed each falsie on top of each of the clear sticky tab securely.


All in all it did not even take me 5 minutes and the result looked fabulous.

How to use-

1. Remove any nail polish/dirt from nail and ensure the nail is clean and dry
2. Choose the appropriate False nail for each finger ensuring they fit comfortably
3. Choose the sticky tabs that are closest fit to your nails
4. Remove the tab from the sheet and place the sticky side to the nail and peel of the protective cover from the top of the sticky tab
5. Place the nail that fits that finger on top of the sticky tab and press firmly

My Conclusion-
Being mum and wife and always on the go, I never get time to sit and design a pretty pattern onto my nails. 
Neither do I have long nails that could be made to look even and tidy having them in a sink most of the day.

These Elegant Touch nails are so easy to apply, they fit me perfectly for having small finger nails and I do not need to sit and shape, chop or glue them before applying.
The sticky tabs save so much time and make it comfortable to place the nail in the correct place without worrying about damaging my nail in the process of having to remove the nail.

They fit very tightly, not something I was expecting from a small sticky tab , but in fact I feel more attached than I did with the glue for some reason, they feel a lot more secure and guess what?
They lasted me longer than the expected few hours already and still going strong.
I don't seem to be able to chip them and they hold a natural shine not over glossy .

I have another 8 packets of Elegant Touch in all shapes and colours and can definitely say that I will be trying more out and showing you how fabulous they are.

For me , I think £7-8  is a little steep but if I were going out on a special occasion I would pay that being so easy and professional looking.
