Renunail week 2 challenge

So the second week of my challenge has finished and I am beginning to think this is most definately working.

I have been applying the Dr LeWinn's strengthener ever night for the past 2 weeks and following with massaging the Nourishing oil into my nail cuticles and surrounding areas of the nail to help stimulate growth.

My honest thoughts before I started were that I would be taking more care of them in the way I would be more careful and making sure I applied the strengthener every day so they must be protected because of the polish applied each day. I was a bit sceptical.

This past week I have realised that I was wrong. Yes I admit it.
The strengthener has not only made my nails stronger so I do not break a nail every day but the peeling is vanishing and I am more confident in doing my daily routines like making beds and doing the dishes without worrying I will break a nail or cause damage.

I have to say the smell of the strengthener is very strong and applying it on a night time when my eyes feel tired is something I am going to change . I will now do it on dinner time or teatime . It is just way to strong for my sensitive eyes and nose .

I am not sure what has gone on with my nails this week but for some strange reason I have noticed a growth  spurt and I am over the moon that my nails have finally got to a point where I feel comfortable in not applying the strengthener every day but because this is a challenge I will continue for the remaining two weeks before a break .
I am rather pleased , I just can not wait till I am able to apply some polish.
Now I do not understand why I can not apply a lovely polish ontop of the strengthener (maybe it stops the daily add on applications soaking into the application beforehand therefore stopping the process of what it is meant to do ) but this is the beginning of regaining my healthy nails and if I had taken care of them beforehand I would not have this problem , So it is my fault and I will continue because I want nothing more than long healthy nails.

This post was written days ago but I have been awaiting the weekly questions from Dr LeWinns challenge and am now on my 3rd week nearly finished so will add the questions once they come in with my answers. It is a long time for repair I think but worthit  so far.
Ooooh they just arrived in my email:-

1. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the weakest) how strong are your nails this week?
8 , I am feeling more comfortable in doing my daily routines around the home without worry they may snap.

2. Have you noticed any growth?
Most definately on this week especially

3. Have you noticed any improvement with Peeling?
I do not seem to notice any other than where some are growing out.

4. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the smoothest) how smooth do your nails feel this week?
10, my nails feel amazingly smoothe.

5. Has there been a reduction in ridges?
I have no trouble with ridges and never had not problems previous to the challenge.

6. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the healthiest) how healthy do your nails look?
My nails look healthy so I would say 9 just because I do not understand how to stop the nail tips been almost stained with foods , I can not seem to protect from that even when they are covered in polish .

thankyou. I have always wanted lovely long nails and the husband is enjoying them too lol. I have fell on a loophole though, over the break of not wearing the strengthener on my nails at the weekend , I have a nail snapped and even though its still attached and I am trying to save it its about to break off :(

Cool challenge, I like how long your nails are, they look healthy!
I bite my nails so something like this wouldn't work with me.
